Sounds like a good deal.  Bare emitters would probably cost more.

I think there are 3 wires into the led, means it’s not an xml2 but an xml.

bought one from fasttech with real XM-L2 but the output is meh.. :Sp
but for this price? if it’s real XM-L2 that’s okay I guess, but I wouldn’t buy another though :~

Are there any mods which need to be done for having a good light? Smile

Are you sure? The LEDs sure look like they have the green base (xm-l) instead of the silver base (xm-l2).

If you also have the 3-emitter Kings, how do they compare light-wise.

For these two (SkyRay & UltraFire), beam vs. spill, artifacts, rings, visible flicker or humming sound, etc?

Thanks for as much as you can tell!!!

There will always be more darkness than I have lights.

Well, if I’m not mistaken, I actually can see 3 leads there on the LED so picture shows XMLs, not XML2s. But it says XML2 so…hmm.

I would buy it if I knew for sure that it’s XM-L2 just because of emitters but I’m not 100% sure and I see you guys are not too. :/

It surely looks XML 2! Can only see silver, not green around led

Edit: it could probably be just the white centering rings!?

I wonder if it's a typo.  I searched for a $10.00 coupon with no luck.

A $10 coupon too would make this irresistible…where did you find one?

Also, I think there must be a strong case of wishful thinking going on, because I’m pretty sure both of you who said the picture shows XML2 have been at this hobby longer than me, and I’d say its pretty clearly showing 3 wires to the LED…which indicates XML…unless I’m the one hallucinating and/or there is another pic?

Either way, if there is a $10 coupon, gotta buy it Smile

I see a bit of green on the substrate. Though there’s no guarantee you’ll get what’s in the pictures anyway.

Yep, either way, $25 for a sky ray king 6x XML isn't bad.

I really don't need one, but ordered one anyway!

Maybe I can replace the leds and reflector with the supfire m6, without too much modification.

I agree, the pic at first glance looks like XM-L2s, but after zooming in, I think I see the 3 leads to each emitter which sould indicate XM-L.

What is most important though is the description is XM-L2. That is what we should get.

The coupon has nothing to do with the flashlight, I have long ago.
It was a coupon to spend in the store of Dx.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
