Flashlight accessories

Well, I am very satisfied with my new to me Jetbeam PA 40! A bit of a learning curve, but it works, and is bright!, giving my Mag 3 D mod with a DD Luxeon III a run for its money. The Mag is a thrower. In fact, for the first year or three after I modded it, I used diffusing film on the lens to give more useful flood. The PA 40 is more floody, but throws like a champ, too! Highly recommended, with useful modes! The low mode, just before the dimmest”night light” mode is the equal of my 2D Fulton G.I issue light with 3 watt LED drop-in!

My criterion, before the PA 40, was to throw enough light to allow me to successfully identify a threat at the width of my back yard. With the majority of my lights, that is doable, but with the PA 40 on turbo, it is three backyards, or so.

It is a used light, but it cost ~1/3 of a new one. Is it perfect? No, but, it will do…it will do… 8) In fact, When I first got it, I couldn’t figure out the combination for switching modes, so went out and bought a MagLED ML100…A great light, but I returned it, because the PA 40 was better, once I figured out what was what.

If you think you might like the ML100, our local Sheel’s Sporting Goods store has them on sale for $39.95…maybe yours will have the same price, which is pretty good, but still not as low as my PA 40 was.

Accessories didn’t come with it, so I am wishing to buy a holster, spare O-ring and switch/tailcap cover,” just in case”. I have emailed Jetbeam USA, with no success. Can anyone suggest a source for those parts?

Thanx
