Compared to T8X, the build is much stronger with quite a big head.

Any question please feel free to ask.

Thanks

Hello, first time caller but just had to ring in on this one. In theory this really appeals to me. I love the XM-L torch I have, and also love the flood to throws that I have as well. I got excited with the T8X until the reviews came out, as primarily I want the throw to be as great as possible, and the flood modes are just a useful add-on.

Will the head size allow for a greater focus and hence more throw than the T8X?

Welcome to BLF, Deadeyez.

In theory this new Yezl should throw considerably better than the T8X. But sometimes theory doesn't match reality so we will have to wait and see. The trouble is I hate waiting. If I hadn't already planned and spent (overspent actually) my June flashlight budget, I would have already ordered this. Its certainly one on the list for next month.

Pretty interested. Price sounds reasonable too if that includes shipping.

Would be willing to do a through review of it. :)

That looks promising. again lets see how the internals look. like oldbobk said maybe no blink or HM or HL

OMG this looks great! THIS is what the XM-L needed. I'm very impressed by Yezl that they learned from their previous mistake. Can't wait to hear what those who get it right away have to say about it. As for blinky modes...that's a quick and cheap fix if this works as well with an XM-L as the others do with an XR-E.

If it's properly heatsinked it can be bumped up a few notches in output, too. Can we do a BLF edition of this one instead of the Tank TK-737?? ;)

Simple, Bob…replace the driver. No blinky modes and double the output.

You consider the F15 pocketable?? Great taste in torches, but you must have pants with cargo pockets! :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyone interest to ask Ric-CN for a group buy of this light with 5 modes(sl, l, m, h, turbo h)? This will be very tempting.

I’d be interested in a 3 mode lo-med-high but I am excited to see reviews on this light. Crossing fingers that this yezl is half decent. I won’t lie, I had this in the cart last night ready to pull the trigger but decided to wait.

Very interesting light, Jim... and a much better solution than the aforementioned T8X. Although I've used 52mm aspherics with the XM-L, and throw is still less than a good xr-e....but then again overall output is higher.

This may be the first light were I actually mod to swap out the xm-l in lieu of an xr-e R2 :)

Most flashoholics don't like the blinky modes, but the general public sees them as a benefit, so that I doubt that you will see many lights without them. I know on a boating forum that I belong to, the Nebo Redline is very popular because (1) it is focusable, and (2) it has SOS mode.

Regarding the light in the OP, baby, walk proudly with that thing in your front pocket.

Well, Bob, a jacket pocket makes more sense. When I think pocket light I always think pants (jeans in particular). I think that if yours is as nice as mine there really won’t be another light as useful for you. If I was told I could only keep one light in my collection it would probably be that one. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it when it arrives.

Cheers,
Johnny

How are these guys on shipping to the USA, time-wise?

Shipping of 6usd kills the deal for me. Going over 22€ makes my customs very happy.

Another one to wait on specials... :/

This is very useful if you need to cut down on the spill if your immediate environment is very reflective so as to optimise for distance viewing. "Aspheric" lenses of this size have a beamspot of approx the same size as the reflectors counterparts. If you see its 1m distance 13cm spot.

But is 350 lumens correct? That's more like XP-G, no mention of drive levels. it looks good, i got the Yezl M7X though.

Hello Be-Seen Triker,

We do have no tools to measure the OTF lumens of this light. I double-checked with manufatory today, the driven current on hi is set by 2.5A.

It is very brighter, alittle brighter than T8X, much more focus and much more wider when push-pull the head.

Body Quality is very compact and solid, one of the toughest lights in our store, netweight up to 188gram.

Ric

count me in.

I’d order one with free shipping as well

Would be very interested in purchasing one of these babies w/ free shipping as well!

I'm curious as to how this will compare to my current XM-L zoomie, it's supposedly being driven @ 2.8A.
