Hi Guys I have a Fenix P2D which i purchased quite a few years ago and have been happily using it with RCR123 @ 3 volt batteries
my question is would i be able to use IMR 16350 3.7 volt in it instead?
will it handle the extra voltage ok?

All modes will become like its “turbo” mode

Hi there,
I can’t definitively/technically answer you on this but I can tell you that back then I did own at least one of every Fenix light in that generation. I exclusively ran 3.7 liion cells on all of them for prolonged periods w/o any noticeable damages to their drivers.
I do not know if this is the case with current generation Fenix drivers so other readers please take note of this.
