They look identical to Skyrays.

The triple XML says 1000 lumens. Might be the first understated lumen claim.

Pretty good price on the 3*xml if same thing as the sky ray. I just got it at MF or else I'd try it out. Somebody buy it and let us know if it's identical, I'll have to buy another. XD

Wow...its now even cheaper and dealextreme includes Registered shipping in the price for purchases above usd15. So what are you guys waiting for? I think it should be the same.

Thommy, i am interested in the Trustfire X9 also. Pls give us your review and do take a measurement of the hotspot size at 1m. I have several XM-L lights and need a thrower like the Catapult V3 / TK41.

The STL-V6 can also be a shorty, this can take 3 x 16340 as the driver can take 12V, or if you can pay a bit for batteries do 3 x 18350, or the best is 2 x 18500. The 3 X XM-L can only take 8.4V, so can only be a shorty with 2 x 18500.

I wonder if there is a difference between them or do they just print their name on the flashlight.

Ill have to try this V2 with 3 16340 and see how it does.

Skyray STL V2 @ MF

Skyray 3XT6 @ MF

Ill probably wait till they come out with a bigger reflectored 5 xml light. would be nice if they can come up with a better looking design than the trustfire hosts and reflector.

I wanted a 3 led XM-L and got the SKU: 7623 SKY RAY 3xT6 3800-Lumen 3-LED 5-Mode.

I just didn't trust the DX version to be as good, Plus they are slow to ship so i dont mind the extra money. Plus i don't like the idea of trying to match cells past two, Let alone four 18650 cells so i dont loose my hand.

Of course paypal glitch-ed at the last screen so i paid for the item but it didnt get fully ordered so i didnt get an invoice or show a completed order. I never dealt with ManaFont so i hope they correct this right and quickly as a big part of going threw them and paying more was for better and quicker customer service.

Try doing the online chat with them to see if they can pull up your order.

At the time the online chat was down. But i just woke up from a nap and/or slept all day and they manually found the payment and created the order.

VERY good customer service, Im glad i paid to extra $6 and to make sure i get the best light as DX may be a gamble on this one. But the CS was worth the $6 anyhow as i can only imagine some issues that could arrise with language barriers.

This lights' gonna kick amps!

Bro, ZWG99T got his Sky Ray 3xT6 and said that the host is much better quality and beefier than the usual TR-1200/WF-500s. He has some pictures.

I saw that thread but never read it threw the whole way, I kinda went off of the reviews at Manafont and knew it would be a good buy.

At first when i read your comment i thought you were saying the Sky Ray clone at DX was better than Manafonts. This is DX's which was posted by the OP.

But i quickly realized you were talking about the light i ordered.

I went and saw his pics and this thing is a beast, I have the BeamTech XM-L T6 2x18650 which is pretty darn good. But i dont think it has as many amps running it.

Hopefully it gets here fast and ill post up some review/pics in that thread.

Das, can you measure the BeamTech XM-L draw on 1-2 cells for comparison? On DX, someone posted that he received one which had a subpar driver.

Would you like to wait for my Fandyfire to arrive? I'm willing to give it a chance. But note, not all Fandyfires can be tried.... I only tried the Sky Ray G6 and STL-V2 "equivalent", plus this STL-V6 Fandyfire is based on a good light (Olight M3X). The Sky Ray version does perform as well as the branded counterpart.

Lol, I just reply to you for the same thing in another thread. What do you mean the Sky Ray version isn't as good as the branded version?
