Overall KD have been good to deal with but things are just that bit slower to arrive than what I get from GB or BG In amongst all the purchases made at KD, there is only 1 lost shipment of batteries that still haven't shown up since April so I'm writing that $12 off as an anomoly and giving KD the benefit of the doubt that someone else down the chain did the losing (maybe even on my customs end)

But then again maybe "A dingo took my batteries"

G'day mate, ow ya garn?
Yeah, nah good mate

So far I had no problems with KD store (AliExpress). And the issues that emerged (1 pill was not in stock and was replaced by other, after the seller contacted me; 1 problem with tracking that I was promptly informed about) were solved! Great quality products and goo costumer service, at least from my experience! Thumbs Up

I have ordered several things took 2 weeks to ship and that was only after I contacted BanL on this forum. Not sure what would have happened if I had not done that.

They do have great stuff.

I am sorry for the KDLITER C8.2 CREE XHP50.2 flashlight is sold out on last month. And some packages are delayed for a week.

We had shipped out once we get it in stock.

I am sorry for that.

Kaidomain doesn’t use https, at least not on Chrome. Is anyone concerned about security of data entry? Has anyone had security problems.?

since you are checking out via Paypal, no – not concerned. I don’t have any personal data on kaidomain (except the orders I had). I don’t know if my address is shared with KD, I can’t see it on my account.
they might have my email without encryption, I don’t mind. have a separate email address for Asia orders!

edit:
Your standard paypal delivery address will be shared to KD and stored. The address can be retrieved in the order list, the website is not secure. No other information (especially payment information) is shared or visible, AFAIK.

I use to avoid KD if possible, because shipping was slow. But my last to orders arrived 7 and 9 days after ordering. Hope this keeps up.

I just got an order in made Feb 27th, but it wasn’t actually shipped until March 10th— then it did get here in about 10 days. There were problems with the acct. login BEFORE the Feb 27th order, (I tried for about 10 days to get a working account) Then I just did the order without a login to get it done. Anyway, C. New Year (or whatever), and 5 weeks after the need… I have the stuff today.

But the last order before this one, was better. I ordered a C8.2 light (GREAT light btw) and it took about 15 days total then (I didn’t have an account then either- just ordered, got a Paypal request, paid it and waited until it showed. So tracking wasn’t available for either order (why I tried to get an account- which I did AFTER the fact- and so both orders were made before sorting that out)… but I got the stuff.

I appreciate KD’s products: they have a better than most C8 (their C8.2) where they are pushing the XPH leds in the market ahead of many in the budget domain. The C8.2 (XPH 50.2) I have really is worth the extra few bucks for what I got: Nice work all around with stiffer springs, good tolerances and quality that held up on my AR-15 6.8 SPC rifle for 50 rounds or so. I only replaced it for more throw and a custom driver (UI) I can manage better for a gun (MUST have FULL on/off mode for remote pressure switch use). The C8.2 did OK still as it had memory (so as long as I left my light on for 3 seconds+ at a time I was good on the gun), but it was retired to my wife’s gym bag (she goes at 5am; Mon-Fri)— and she uses it daily and likes the muggle UI.

My last order was for parts (for my Sofirn C8F builds) and yes— they are hard to find on the site. BUT again, prices are decent and the KD folks are trying to keep stock which is handy when buying in smaller lots for fair money. And compared to other overseas sellers (I’m in the US), I think KD is (on average) about the same wait as many others (like AliExpress, GBest, and a few others). If KD processes the order and gets it out- they are faster than most, in fact. But small companies all have to manage with limited resources so I can be patient as long as my future orders don’t ALL take as long as my last one did Wink

KD is better than average product quality (imo) for the same terms as most out there and so with that quality, I’ll keep using them as needed.

AND… if they ever get C8.2 PARTS (they show but don’t list for sale yet)… they will sell more to we modders to use on our KD lights we bought already (and are ready to tweak)!

I find Kaidomain excellent to deal with. Their KD Litker products are remarkeably bright and well made. I have several C8.2 lights with both XHP35 and XHP50.2 emitters. They are incredibly bright. By far the brightest stock c8.
My only complaints:
They dont offer a C8.2 with side switches.
They are slow to ship.

Hey WS,
Do you have the xhp35 in the HI? Many (including me) would like to know how it compares to the XHP50.2 (which I have and it throws very well for what it is). I’d love to know how much further your XHP35 “out-throws” the XHP50.2 (a good estimation would suffice). Thanks!

They all have their benefits, so it depends on what you’re after. Intl-outdoor is basically the home base of Hank Wang who is the person behind Emisar and Noctigon.

I’ve never had any issues with KD. Nothing ever lost and all arrived as described. I live in Ohio, and I don’t think I’ve ever had anything arrive from KD in under 3 weeks.

Last month I placed my first order from there. From the day I ordered to delivery at my door: 24 days. Packed well and exactly as ordered. About to place another order.

Just discovered this wonderful addiction.

My orders usually show up around 21 days. Sometimes a few days longer but I have got one or two in about 2 weeks.
So between 14 to 30 days to NC.
I have bought stuff from them for at least 10 years. Never had a problem that wasn’t resolved quickly.

Last order I placed a few weeks ago, I purchased 30 or so tailcaps, they sent one set in the wrong color. I emailed them along with my receipt and within a day they reshipped the correct colored tailcaps I had ordered and sent me a pic of the package with the tracking number on it. That’s how CS should be.
We all mess up sometimes its how we handle the situation and correct the problem that makes us different. Wink

I really appreciate kaidomain even if my last order was a bit long to be shipped. Usually = average 3 to 5 weeks to France. I don’t mind to have to wait. It’s one of my prefered source to purchase bare emitters, recently Luminus SST-20 3000K and 4000K high CRI 90+, Cree XHP 70.2 N2 5A CRI 80 and a few others.

I’ve have done a dozen or so orders with Kaidomain in the past year. All my orders were delivered perfectly in 3-5 weeks here in North Carolina.

I was curious if shipping speeds from that side of the world had sped up. I’m just going to have to be patient.

Thanks You All.

Got my first of 6 orders in a time of 2 1/2 weeks to North Carolina. That’s pretty good.

Happy Thanksgiving BLF members.

Just got my first order from Kaidomain. 30 days for delivery, about average for me as far as overseas shipping goes. Products were packaged well. I got some emitters and one of those Stainless AA single mode lights. It is a really great light with a great tint and beam. It is certainly a good hunk of stainless. Thanks BanL. I just ordered some more emitters and a few batteries I was needing.
