KeepPower 5200mAh IMR26650 High Discharge

Anybody know anything about these new batteries? First found them here http://www.illumn.com/batteries-chargers-and-powerpax-carriers/26650-keeppower-5200mah-imr26650-high-discharge-flat-top.html Now I see them in a dozen different spots but no real test data.

I tested them and would rate them at max 15A continuous discharge.

Site says flat top but @71mm sounds like protected. Can you verify Calvin, thanks.

Also if flat top, possible to run series…ie where button top comes in handy.

Whoa - 71mm is hugh! Gotta compare against my protected 26650's. Aren't the 26700's 70 mm? I got a Moli that is too big to fit anything I own... I'd be interested if the length doesn't rule them out.

Calvin - any discounts we can use for these? Or qty discounts?

You're right, measured and modified. 65.45mm and 65.55mm for 4200mah and 5200mah respectively. Yes they are stackable the button tops protrude out a little unlike the King Kong ICR26650s.

Any capacity data at different loads. And blazing fast response too.

That's a nice jump in capacity if the rating is correct.

Calvin - think they are lower resistance than the KK's? For DD drivers, the KK's do well, but always looking for better... Wink I really miss being able to get Powerizer's, but the 5200 capacity is amaz'n!

I got 3 in my cart right now.... Hhmmm. 'illumination' code works on these.

Yes the illumination code will work for 15% off, if you want to purchase in higher quantities you can contact me directly at my email. I haven't measured the resistances of batteries before so I don't have any data. Here's a discharge at 15A though:

The 4200mAh version has much less voltage sag, I'll post a chart of that in 10 minutes or so.

Yikes, major initial drop off in voltage there. I'd be more interested in a 5A discharge, if you got one Smile.

I don't but I can arrange for that test.

I’m interested in this.

3A curve would be nice as well, if its not too much extra work, it would show performance for standard 105C drivers

You guys are slave drivers. I'll have to do the 3A test some other day since it would take nearly 2 hours before recharging.

We wouldn’t control our LEDs any other way

Ohhh yes we are Smile. Thank You Innocent.

Do a .2a discharge while you are at it! whip-crack :stuck_out_tongue: (JK, it would take forever)

these look like they are shaping up to be the new best 26650 in town.

You guys ARE slave drivers lol. So basically the 5200 is good for moderate draining devices but not so good for high-drain. And the 4200 is good for high-drain but just less capacity.

Am I right?

I believe you.
