I just got my wf139 charger today with 2 protected trust fire flames. I threw them on the charger and after about 20 min I looked at the charger and noticed that the red charge light were flashing green every three seconds or so for a millisecond. Is this normal?
mine does that every time you put in new cells.
I've had a WF-139 for 1.5 to 2 yrs, and a friend of mine just gave me another one that he bought maybe 2.5 - 3 yrs ago. His behaves differently: on my charger, the red LED stays lit continuously; on his, the red LED blinks green every 1.5 s or so. I just googled this, so I know that it's normal for some models to blink, but I'm curious to know if all models are supposed to blink? i.e. is my charger defective because it doesn't blink?
There are a lot of different versions of these WF139 chargers, the two older ones flashed green once every two seconds or so while charging.

my does the green/red blinking too.. it's normal. i've been using it for 3yrs already..still a great charger to me
Mine does the same
As I understand it, when it blinks, it is checking the cell's voltage, then it charges a little more, then it checks the voltage again, and so on until the charge is completed.
