I'm wondering if any of you track your orders with a spreadsheet or a database, paper trail, Outlook Express,...

email folders or maybe a calendar program other than Outlook Express, or some other method? It seems like that may be the only way to keep organized for the 45 day long PP period. I can see this part will be my weakness. I have virtually no clerical skills whatsoever...

If you do use a database what flavor? Excel, Access, other? I guess it might be interesting to grade the suppliers as if they were items. I wonder if you pressed the suppliers in this way if it might prompt them to do better? My guess is probably not. Anyway if you've come up with a great system to track your orders I'm interested in hearing about it.

Thanks,

Ron

I dont seem to have too many orders that im waiting for at a time to need to record, but its probably more just a laziness or high success rate so far that makes me less concerned? Maybe ignorance is bliss and i dont remember loosing orders....

For now I'm just recording torches on a text file, but if I was to step it up a little more it would be an excel spreadsheet (or equivalent such as numbers, or google spreadsheet)

Also dont want to know how much is actually 'in the mail'... *adds up*.. .. .. Why did you make me do this!! I think I have $300+ in the mail atm.. _omg_

ROFL! Oh yeah...

I probably should. I have received packages I didn't remember even buying. Sometimes I think "someone else" buys things for me.

Its the things that I don't remember that don't show up that I worry about...

Ron

You worry too much .. just gotta go with the flow ...

I never look at where the package is from .. i like to be surprised .I just open it like it was a birthday gift

I'll keep that in mind, you are probably right.

I have a small excel table which warns me about paypal 45+65 days limits.

Cool, I wonder if there is a way to share it here, that is if your willing.

It is really nothing special, but here you go.

I made a small Excel sheet, too.

I wrote these inforation in it:

Date of purchase, date of shipping and delivery.

I noticed important information also in the lits: Trackingnumber, value.

LOL, we Germans... I too use a spreadsheet to keep track of my orders and to get the 45 days limit warning.

And since I love statistics here are mine:

Here is the information I save in my spreadsheet.

SITE ORDER# ITEM DESCRIPTION SKU QUANTITY PRICE ORDERED SHIPPED RECEIVED

*Formatting in this post is messed up a bit but you get the idea.

I'm not very paranoid with PP's limits . Use just a text file with shipping date and if registered 'left' date...

QTC 12/4
sharpener 3 diamond 4/7
xpg osram 4/7
warm 180L 10/7
pila gus RF063471xxxSG 11/7

llaveros . 11/7

I keep track of ordered and received times so I can get an idea of how quickly one dealer is working over an other. PayPal is not an issue for me as I've never had to file a claim. I track the item, SKU, and where I got it in case I need to get another one.

Me to, I made my own little spreadsheet. I keep track of roughly the same figures like Buwuve.

It seems, this is not a pure "german" attitude.

Need solution to For Resole Microsoft Not Implemented Error. Two of the most usual coz are: 1.Virus scanners or 2. srs-file. This error most commonly takes place when sending or receiving an email which means that the issue takes place in the procedure followed out for transaction of emails.

I also use a tracking sheet, on numbers (Mac OS), similar to this formatting:

Light 1 FiToch ER16 FiTorch ER16 Gearbest 02/07/18 RC’D RC’D 8/9/18 19.21 38d

type/qty/name/shop/date ordered/delivered/delivery date/price/shipping time

The prices also sum up at the end, so I can track how much I spend (=waste) through hobbies. The number is above 2,500 $US already for 2017-2018 :frowning:

Hi lisarose, welcome to BLF.

A while ago “my-wife(at)gmail.com” account was hacked and mail forwarded to “my-wife(at)hotmail.com”.
I’ll spare you the details (setup > arabic alphabet), but finally we regained control over the gmail account.

Then I tried to persuade MS to take actions against the fake hotmail account with my wife’s name in it.
Wel, to make a long story short: they could not care less. I’ve seen concrete walls with more compassion.
So I would start looking for a White Hat Hacker.

Unless you are part of https://www.number-customer-service.com/outlook-customer-service/ of course.

Me.
order on the First for example.
I start looking for a delivery on around the 30th.
IF I remember.
30% of mine are a nice surprise.

OH Yes. I remember that.
