LED light bulb deals at Costco. Special prices in Connecticut

I was in Costco today, Sept 13, 2014 and there is quite a selection of LED bulbs. After the CT subsidy, the prices are very attractive. These bulbs are not as good as the Cree of Philips bulbs, but they are not that bad either.
Some packages contain more than 1 bulb, when they do, the price as shown is for the whole package.

I purchased a few of these when I have gone on vacation the last two years from Costco in the US since they either couldn’t be found here or the pricing was way to much to justify.

I really like those A17 bulbs and for $4 you can’t go wrong as they seem to dim quite well. I have them in a few fixtures replacing cfl’s as they burn out. For a 60watt equivalent in the one room where they replaced two 100watt equivalent cfl’s I didn’t notice any drop in output from the well worn cfl’s. I have had three of these in use for almost 2 years now and the seem to be holding up well. I also have a pair of those BR40’s in two floor lamps which are nice. They are definitely a little warmer than what I normally like (usually buy “daylight” cfl’s) but are nice and bright and instant on. These were also bought 2 years ago.

The par30’s are in use at my mom’s place to replace the stock halogen bulb pot lights (5) in her kitchen and she really likes them. We tried a couple different cfl’s in them but the warm up time was dreadful. She also used the first 3pack ones in the bathroom and really likes them compared to the cfl’s before them.

I definitely don’t have a lot of experience with household led lamps since the pricing in Alberta (Canada?) is ridiculous but I haven’t been disappointed with any of these Feit bulbs Costco sells.

Thanks for the heads up.
I bought one of the Feit BR30 at Costco. I think it was a single pack when I bought it. I will say that you should hang onto your receipt for these bulbs. Mine was not an instant-on (Edit: I see the package now reads instant-on), and it failed completely in about 2 years (zero lumens). I think it has a five year warranty, but it doesn’t do me much good without the receipt. I replaced it with the Cree equivalent.

I bought quite a few of the 60 watt A-19’s. They are instant-on and have been trouble free so far. I did have one instance where the diameter of the bulb would not fit into an outdoor fixture. Naturally, these bulbs run heavier than incandescents, so I have not tried them in a fixture that is spring loaded for adjusting the height of the fixture.

these are some amazing deals. are they only availalbe at the connecticut costco?
ive only tried the br 30s and i like them. i have about 11 of them.
id like to try the other ones in the picture too, since theyre on sale

Costco’s in other States may have instant rebates of various amounts. Awhile back there was a Cree light bulb deal at Home Depot that had special prices in a lot of the States. All I can say is each person should check their local Costco.

Of the deals in the OP, I especially like the Candelabra bulbs, 3 for 8.99. It seems more and more fixtures these days are using them and it is hard to find LED or even CFL bulbs for them. This is the only decent price I have ever come across. It seems most new ceiling fans and a lot of outdoor fixtures are now coming through with them. At $3 each, I am glad to have them.

We have six of the A19, so far they are working very well. The color temp is approved by my wife for applying makeup and they are instant on.

Earlier this year, Costco had the BR30 at even a better price. Instead of the 2 pack for 7.99, they had the 1 pack for 2.99!

They work quite well, these are flooders. I even have some installed outside. Lets see how they hold up. They package states that they can be used in a damp location, i know that is not the same as a wet location, but I thought I would give it a try.
Also, these happen to have a CRI of 93!, very nice!

These 90 CRI luminus retrofits are on sale for $13 by me. They give off a ton of really beautiful high cri light.

More deals at Costco.
I was at the new Costco store in CT today. Lots of LED light bulb deals. These bullb prices are made possible because of a subsidy. Other States may have similar deals, or not.

LED filament bulbs! And WOW the price is right!\
3 pack for $3.49

No comments from here on, just the pics. These are all 2, 3, or 4 packs of bulbs

The next 2 pics are of an 8 pack and a 10 pack of bulbs.

This is a VERY low profile surface mount LED ceiling light fixture. Price was $30

The LED 4’ shop lights that were on subsidy at $20 are not back at $30 without
