While awaiting the results of the latest X6 sample that is currently being DHLed to JohnnyMac, I have been checking out a JAX light, and also a light/powerbank combo for review. I thought it would be nice to see a running list of the other pending reviews BLF members are working on. Here are the links to the two items I will review sometime soon:
These two reviews are complete and linked to the pics:

JAX Mini C8
Cigar C2 XP-E R3 Powerbank
Posts will be updated with picture links to reviews once completed.
I have a pair of nitecore’s Im really excited about coming from (vendor withheld cause they usually don’t do review samples so I don’t want to flood them with requests)
A cr6 and a srt7. I’m pretty uniquely qualified to do RGB light reviews so really looking forward to it.
Also still have the Component tester review (it’s turning out very difficult to find verified as spec’d parts to test).
Romisen rc-t603 i got from FT allong with a 504b it seems that both are going to get bored out to fit the tripple xpl dropins ive made. Probably going to pick up some solarforce lego first to see if maybe ive been making my p60’s to big, they fit my 502b so i dont know yet.
Sofar the romisen is pretty neat, it uses a threaded pill mated to a p60 reflector
I haven’t tried yet. I want to get all my beamshots and other testing done before I attempt that. Since it is a diving flashlight, I’m not sure it is a good idea…and it looks like it will be a bear!
Mine was hard enough just to get the battery ‘can’ off. There is also some rubbery, gluelike residue on various spots on the outside surface of the light. What about yours?
I received a ZeusRay for review...trouble is it was 99%DOA. Dealmetic hinted for me to return ship at my expense so they could determine the problem. Don't think so. If I'm gonna review, give me one that works.
Pulled @1.6 amps when should have been doing 3+. The driver is now dead. BUT, they did tell me there were problems with the last batch produced.
Finally said they'd send another...dunno bout that.
I had the same experience, removing the battery tube was hard, i thought i would bend it or bash my hand into the handle if it suddenly came loose while unscrewing. I also had white and black foam/plastic melted onto the body, the black looks like melted foam from the box it comes in. I have determined the light is wired in 2S2P configuration and can be run on two batteries.
Is there any reason we should both do a review on the same light at the same time, do you want to collaborate?
I was told the head is glued shut to assist in waterproofing.
I wouldn’t mind, but I think there is more value to independent review.
If you look at all the reviews on BLF, there are often reviews of the same light. I like that! I appreciate the review ‘style’ of each reviewer, and I want to see your response to this light without any of my biases.
