Kaidomain Had System Glitch Last Week (Week of Sept. 25th) - Check on Your Orders!

I just tried checking on an order I placed with KD last Thursday - NADA! Nothing in my account and nothing trying to track my order by it's order number. I used the "Contact Us" form and sent an email asking them to look into the issue and confirm my order and I got a personal response within a few hours (during a Chinese Holiday to boot!!!) explaining that they had a "system glitch" last week and politely asked me to let them know what I had ordered so that they could get my order out ASAP. Good service! I had actually printed off my Order Page as it had shown up in my account last week, so I scanned and sent that to them.

So if anyone placed a recent order with KD, please login to your account and check that your order has not been lost.

Update - I'm having a heck of a time with this order at KD. They tell me they are unable to get the order back into my online account but assure me that it will ship ASAP and I will be emailed a tracking number. Days go by and no emails, so I email asking for an update. At first I am getting responses "So sorry, please don't worry . . .", but now I am not getting a response. I've just threatened them with filing a PayPal dispute if they show me the order has shipped with a valid tracking number. Ugh!

Sorry to hear that mate, its frustrating when it goes awry. If it helps, Amazon is not much better though. I added some ASICs runners to an order for some other stuff just to make it worthwhile given postage costs. I wanted a Hakko battery powered soldering iron, some inks for my HP printer, and the runners (trainers, sneakers) made the entire deal worth while. As a group there was value in the order incl shipping, but without the shoes, with shipping I may as well buy locally. So the order is on hold, or so I thought.

There was an issue with sizing of the shoe, I wanted 2E width, while it kept adding to my cart as W. I have no idea what W is, it might be the same thing but I asked a rep to make sure, they saw the issue that it shows as 2E on the listing, but adds to cart as W (no mention of 2E) so they pulled the item from sale and referred it to a team to be fixed. And it was taken down for a couple of days, then it was added back. So it was fixed and added back? nope, just added back. So I contact them again, and they say check back in a few days as they need to refer it to the team responsible for the website (again) but he told me as if I had not been through it already, and now a couple of days later the shoes are no longer available in my size …and half the order was posted. Arrrghhh. So I ask again and explain, again, they say I will get free postage on my next order, and I dont doubt that (Ive been upgraded for free before and stuff moved to me in days) but its not automatic and maybe I dont want anything else, and I need to chat with someone and explain it all to get my free postage as it wont apply by itself. Even when they look over the chat logs, I still have to go through it all with them. Maybe Ill get better reposes if I try at a daylight hours for the US, but at the moment the names appear to be Indian or similar.

Im guessing it will work out in the end, and I will be happy. On a side note, the Hakko 4 AA iron gets hot. Not much chop so far at trying to pull the PSU socket from a laptop MB, but it melts 60/40 solder from a roll well enough. Im guessing the MB factory solder requires a tad more heat, or a larger tip. Its very pointy.

Well I did get an email response from KD. 9 hours ago, they responded "Sorry for we are replying you late. We would check your order and reply you asap. Thanks".

So ASAP takes over 9 hours???
