I’ve been keeping my eye open for quad hosts, and in this thread (Suitable hosts for 24mm quad optics.), the Supfire A6-T6 was mentioned. However, it seems like the A6-T6 is somewhat difficult to get (I’ve had one on order from DHgate farfarled for awhile now), and I found some mention about the Uniquefire C108S being similar, and the C108S seems easier to get ahold of.
In my case, I ordered one from Wallbuys, and got it pretty quickly (into the U.S.):
I just got the C108S, and it looks like it will be a good fit for a quad mod, but I noticed that there wasn’t much info about the light itself, which I’ve actually found to be pretty nice (may order a few more!), so I thought it might be helpful to post some disassembly pics of it:
First, the light:

The pill screws into the battery tube part of the body:
Here’s the front of the pill:
I haven’t done throw measurements, but this light seems likes it’s an OK thrower. Tailcap was 1.54 amps on high using a laptop pull 18650. A whitewall shot (about a meter, high mode):
It tailstands with the head/reflector section removed:
Like I said, I like it. It’s a bunch cheaper to get than the A6-T6, and much easier to find, so probably a very good alternative if you’re looking for a quad host and don’t want to pay/wait for an A6-T6.
FYI, modes are high-low-strobe. I’m not quite sure, but it seems to have mode memory (i.e., where you turn it off in low, then turn it on and it comes on in low).
EDIT: Modified Subject line :)…
