i own this flashlight and i really like how it is well made. I have others “cheap” flashlight but this is the only one i prefer with an optimal price/ratio.
My native language is italian so excuse me prior if i made some grammatical errors.
i give you some info to describe it:
the tint is pure white, led is XM-L2 (confirmed by gearbest staff). i also own a thrunite TN12 2014 and at hi mode it does output 800 lumens. i compared the light to the singfire one and it is about 700lumens, really similar to 800 lumens. i made the ceiling bounce test to estimate lumens. as you can see in pictures there are 3 leds(blue) to see the % of battery status wich i found very useful.
the beam is narrower than the TN12 , similar to a thrower but not too much. over long distance over 70/100 meters is a bit better of TN12 thanks to a smaller spot.
The host is really heavy and strong to the touch. more than others.
the PARTICULARITIES of this flashlight are that ……
- you can charge it with your microusb phone charger. so it is PERFECT as gift for parents and friends who do not have ( and will never ) a stand alone li-ion charger. on my measurements the cut off charge is about 4,16 v
- it does have a normal/standard usb port to charge your devices as tablet or smartphone as a power bank(rated 1A in and 1A output, see my measurements in last 2 pictures, it is really 1A, generally 1A are about 300/600 mah in cheap made in china items)…. so this is a DOUBLE advantage……and these days everyone is searching for a way to extend the life of the smartphone.
