A rainy* day hello - *here in Maine anyway

Hi All,

I’m falling over to BudgetLight from CPF and I suspect that this will be a more welcoming hangout.
I’m not a “smart” flashlight fan just a user who appreciates a good thrower and a good flood. I seem to
prefer LEDs and 1865 lights. Not up on all the technical jargon but after nearly a 100 post on CPF I’m
beginning to get a glimmer. (Yup that’s a pun.)

I’ve started gathering up different lights as I become more aware. Big fan of Vinh54 at CPF. Trouble is,
of course, that I often end up with some lights that just aren’t for me. I’m hoping I can sell and trade
with you folks as my preferences evolve. I can’t own every light (nor knife) I fancy so I hunt and peck
and rotate my collection so it’s fun and affordable. BudgetLightForum seems taylor made for my kind of
flashlight addiction.

Leave the light on for me.

Cheers, Sam

Welcome to the BLF. Enjoy !

Welcome to BLF!

But Samlittle is not to short to be alive :). Glad to be here.

I read your sigline Legolas Jr. and I thought at first that you were commenting on my name. Oops , I am really not that self centered. Made me laugh.

Hi and welcome
here at this nice place.

Welcome to BLF Sam!

Welcome to the BLF. I hope you also have fun here :-)

This is your new family, Samlittle!

Welcome samlittle, this is certainly a welcoming place, there's a bit more shouting compared to CPF, but most members mean very well :-)

If you learn how to mod you could make your own Vinh-lights (although he certainly does a very good job at it..)

(pooring rain here as well today)

Welcome to BLF Sam

I can handle it. More heat sinks if it gets too hot.

raccoon city - thought I had slipped back to BladeForums when I 1st saw your post

As for the shouting - all can be tuned down (or up) with the right emoticon. The set above is good for most situations.
