365NM light with 18650

I need a flashlight, single purpose one color only, on / off in the 365nm range (not 385 up) that uses 18650 (1 or 2) batteries. Cree or not, anyone have a source?

I “could” use AA’s or CR123’s but I have a LOT of 18650’s and don’t want to scavenge around all the time for power so the larger cells fit my needs better.

Im also looking for same light.

I saw lot of ultrafire 501B UV 365nm flashlights for under 20$ in ebay, Aliexpress etc… But i am not sure are they really 365nm

LEDEngin has some new, very good emitters in the 365nm range, only thing is they all use a proprietary pad layout and only Al, non DTP MCPCB’s are available for them.

Seems mighty cheap for a true 365nm light and the photos look like it is putting out a lot of visible light, usually a sign of longer wave length UV lights.

I wonder if the plastic lenses they use in zoomies will transmit 365 NM. I might build an UV SK-58.
I don’t see how to actually buy from LEDengin.com.

No, it does a very lousy job transmitting 365nm, I had to replace it with a glass lens (see this mod: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/24011 )

Thanks. I do have glass lenses only not of my choice size for this purpose.

365 on Noctigon, put it in whatever host you like. A P60 is probably a good choice.

Mouser, Newark and Digikey all stock LEDEngin parts (including the aluminum non DTP MCPCB/s).

Thanks.
