These $5 Glaree AAA are really nice lights.

I just got mine. There is no way the low mode is only 0.1lm. If I had to guess, it’s somewhere between 1 and 2 lm. I wish it was lower. But other than that, it’s a nice little light. The mid mode is great as it gives a nice balance between output and battery life. Without a battery, it only weighs 0.3 oz. This is my smallest flashlight to date. I had some Eneloops sitting around collecting dust, so that’s what I’m currently using in it.

Ditto to all the above. Just gave one to the gf to use as a brim-clip-on headlamp, and got more for myself as spares. Definitely handy!

I noticed my glaree only has 3 modes, not the advertised 4. Moon is missing. Nice little light, wish I could order another but I couldn’t get the code to work again.

Don’t they count strobe as a “mode”? Ie, l/m/h/s?

No, the manual clearly shows moon, l, m, h with strobe separate. I sent an email to glaree to check on it. Nice little light, but I love moon mode, so….

Mine doesn’t. It shows Moon, Low, High, and Strobe. So that’s 4 modes total including strobe.

Ah crap – you’re all right. I completely misread the manual! It’s CLEARLY 3 modes + strobe. Facepalm

I wish there was a way to bypass strobe when cycling through various output modes. Otherwise, seems like a nice light.

I agree … saving grace is the active memory. At least the light can be turned off and turned on in last level used without cycling through strobe mode. A very handy and affordable AA.

Actually, were it not for the damned strobe, I would’ve bought one or more. Looks like a really nice light otherwise.

vwpieces, dude, thank you for the Glaree link and code!! I bought 10 of them with the hope of making a little cash!! Other than the tint and dirty LED, this light is pretty awesome! (I prefer no moon.)

My gratitude to those who are willing and able to help others (in whatever way you can)! Being human is more than just existing for yourself. Smile

Received a defective light from Amazon, sent back with return label, they made me pay $5.64 for return shipping, emailed and asked why, they responded with an offer of $5 coupon or $3 returned to credit card, emailed back that I wanted the whole amount refunded, responded with a coupon for $10 and I took it.

What is going on with all the shenanigans? Where are all these random numbers coming from?

Who “made you pay”? Amazon, or the seller?

If the seller, I’d just point to the a-to-z guarantee and sic Amazon on ‘em. If Amazon, nfi.

‘Though 10bux extra sounds nice.

Amazon refunded the amount paid minus the $5.64, they sent me $10 so I am happy. Still don’t understand why they didn’t just refund the correct amount instead of trying to offer less and then offering more.

I picked up one of these Jackery ThunderX 20,000mAh USB PowerBanks on sale for $22.99 a few days ago. It was a good deal in terms of both mAh/$ and mAh/g. Right now its $19.99!

It’s basically a 6 cell version of the 3 cell Blitzwolf BW-P3, from what I can tell. ( Blitzwolf also has a 6-cell version called the” BW-P5”:http://lygte-info.dk/review/Review%20USB%20battery%20box%20Blitzwolf%20Q..., but unlike Jackery they seem to have opted to fill it with lower capacity cells, so it only has 15,600mAh capacity ).

AmazonBasics High Capacity AA Nimh cells… 4 for $8.79 right now… http://a.co/85PyMAs

These are Eneloop Pro equivalent, from what I understand.

I bought them in the past, and according to my Opus charger, they do hold the same capacity as my Eneloop Pro cells.

Be careful to choose the right reason for the return … defective product should have no return fee plus they pick up freight….. “I don’t like it” they may make you pay to return….

I just tried return/refund claim for Defective and broken/damaged parts. Got return label and the note that there will be a 20% restocking fee in addition to the return shipping cost. Cancel the return request. Start all over and looked for the Amazon a-z guarantee claim, but couldn't find it despite the following : To file an A-to-z Guarantee Claim on an eligible order:

Go to Your Orders.

Locate your order in the list and click File/View Claim.

Select a reason code to describe your issue.

Select Request refund through A-to-z Guarantee. <=== NO

Enter the required information and select Submit

Problem is I don't see "Select Request refund through A-to-z Guarantee." Is the a-z guarantee applies after return process is completed?
