SplashFlash?

Anybody tried these?

seem better suited to my intended purpose than the fastech glow tube thingy I saw reviewed here recently.

Thanks

I haven’t tried one yet but I keep thinking about buying one to clip onto my day pack.

i’ve been debating lots of different lights to use like ‘chinese lanterns’ - hung from reflective/glow cord around the campsite

i have a couple dozen tenergy AAAs i picked up by mistake (meant to order AA) so these are a candidate

can be found for $5 each………which is 2x a sk68 clone when they’re on sale….but these might be more rugged (at least around water)

Be nice if they were waterproof to 100m.

haha, yeah, be nice if i won the lotto too!

i could ring the islands that i camp on with xtar d06….set each at its perfect level……it’d always be a very full moon on my island

really, though, it might be better if they floated!

these splashflash might do that without that carabiner

On night dives we zip tie a chem light to the 1st stage as a passive locator but I dislike disposable plastic things and would rather have something rechargeable. I think I can make something out of brass and epoxy but it’s a lot of stuff and bother.

I got one of these to take when I’m traveling, it’s quite bright and has a very disperse light.

I’d recommend it.
