For Sale: Glove Box Survival Kits (made in USA - free shipping)

My sister is a noted survivalist who spent many years in the Peace Corps in some of the most remote areas of the world. For a while she was selling these type of survival kits for a living on eBay until she found more lucrative ventures. This is the last few of her last batch of these intricate, hand made kits. They are sourced, put together and more thorough than any commercial kits of this type you will find, which was a problem because they took so much labor, and now she makes more boilerplate kits, when she even makes them. They are packed so well that it took me several tries to put one back together after I took photos. They all have a well-written survival guide written by her, and she sells just the survival guides on eBay. She gave me a case of 30 of these to sell but all my friends and family begged me for one, so now I have roughly half that. This is the last batch of these kits. I had to raise my right hand and promise not to give them away lol.

What a great idea, esp. for Christmas gifts.

2 please…I’ll pm you.

Cool idea.

Both my vehicles, my 72 hour disaster bag and even my electronics bag each have one of these. I forgot to mention that I’ll throw in something extra with every order. I was jealously hoarding these until my sister asked me about them. I have several different types of kits that I’m prepping to sell. I have some Eddie Bauer survival kits, fanny pack survival kits, and some “junk drawer” kits in the same tins as those glovebox kits. Whatever doesn’t sell here will go to my store, which is about to be launched.

Living as I do in earthquake country I also keep some painting plastic drop clothes, coffee filters, and a bottle of tincture of iodine with an eye dropper in my supplies. The drop clothes can be used to cover broken window and too keep dry (and warmer), the filters to strain particulates out of water, and the iodine is better at killing viruses in a shorter period of time.

I’d love one of these, no money though so gotta pass
I keep some of these things in the car already, perhaps i can assemble my own in future from your list

I see a lot of good stuff there. I especially like using a used, high quality knife.

Thanks, adnj. I have lots of those Vic classic knives if anyone wants some of those separately. I created a Victorinox sale thread around here somewhere.

In fact, I probably have enough odds and ends to build you a kit mister Bort, if you could maybe afford shipping. I am currently poor as well, but I do have a room full of this stuff. I’m finally starting to go through some of it and photograph it. Let me see what I can put together for you. A Vic for sure, and I thought I saw a box of bagged up kit parts. Anything for a fellow BLF’er.

Wow! Awesome assortment of knives there!

Bump. I dug up a couple more kits, so I have 10 left now. There’s still several boxes of different kinds of kits I need to get to in my storage room, and I hear there’s some brand new ones on the way. My sister said she has some new kit she made 500 of. But these are still the cream of the crop because she put so much work into this batch.

I can’t order any cuz i’m from Europe but i did use some of the same items in my survival pack i’m making

These are amazing! Much better than prepackaged store ones (or ones from other survival/knife sites).

Bump! Still 10 of these particular kits left.

Ever going to sell these again?
