With a 18650 @ 3.16v charge rate seems to be about 0.65A to start / @ 3.52v charge rate is around 0.5A
and by the time you get to 4v its dropped down to 0.15A
I left two 18650 in the charger last night , and this morning they were 4.19v and 4.2v ..
With both cells in the charger , there was a very low Monitoring current of 2.2mAh , removing a cell increased this to 3.3mAh ...
It does appear that the charger stops charging and goes into a monitoring state [ I dont see a problem with this ]
Will test more , as there are some behaviors I would like to verify , but I thought I would post something in case anyone is interested in this charger .
Its available from Manafont if anyone is looking to pull the trigger on it .
Thanks for posting. The charger does look promising. Have you had a chance to mess around with it any more? How is the voltage termination consistency from station to station when using cells of the same age and model? Have you discovered any idiosyncrasies yet?
Good luck. I hope it doesnt suffer from the many other problems that most of these chinese chargers seem share. Im sure you'll put it through the usual battery (no pun intended) of tests.
old4570 out of all the chargers that you have can you give the charge rates and which of the stop at 4.2v.I want to get a charger that charges at a low rate 0.5A or less so it's gentle on my batteries (16340,14500 and 18650)
How do i test at what rate my current chargers are charging at?
I have an ultrafe wf139 and something similar to the Xtar mp1
