Nice find and nice price too.

I have just put that in my favorites, thanks for that freeme.

Haven’t really gone into the matter, but which bike lights do fit these? Or does it use some standardized connection?

It has standard 5.5x2.1mm connector used by the most of bicycle lights.

I have seen another option at fasttech. It costs about $15 more than what the OP mentioned, but it appears to include four protected Trustfire 18650 batteries, a charger, and a pouch to attach to bike frame.

I’d say keep away from any bad batteries and untested chargers.

Not suitable. It has only 1A of output. To low for serious light.

The 1A is most likely just the USB output, not the other connector that goes to the light.

Well, read description.

Huh, good find freeme. This thing looks pretty sweet…

To me the idea behind a battery case like this would be to use batteries and charger of my choice so Solarstorm it is.

Anyone tried this bike light from Dealmetic is it a sealed battery pack or a box like the one branded Solarstorm? http://www.dealmetic.com/product.asp?ID=FL05203

I’d love to see some pics of the protection circuit if anyone gets a chance to tear down one of these.

Isn’t this the same as KD sells?

Great… KD shipped mine just a few days ago.
Lets me hope, that I will get the new Version - the description was different when I bought it.

Nice find, do you have a link? I can’t seem to find it on the site.

The first picture is a link!

Not sure if I get the USB thing?

That looks like a good holder, however i can only buy it in good conscience if its reviewed by HKJ or another expert to make sure its safe to use.

You can charge your phone or personal music player while riding?

Hopefully some clear pictures of the PCB will shed enough light on the situation. There’s no charging stuff to review, although there is the USB aspect.
