Bike... or Cane flashlight mounts?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some light mounts that would work on my Dad's canes. He makes canes as a hobby and has mounted flashlights to them but I think an adjustable flashlight bike mount would be pretty slick.

I picked up one off Ebay and it looks like it should work well but was wondering if there where something better I should check out. http://cgi.ebay.com/Flashlight-Mount-Holder-Clip-LED-Bicycle-Bike-Torch-360-/120741047290?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item1c1cba2bfa

Thanks

Or maybe Twofish Lockblocks or Bikeblocks ...

Where does he want/need the light to be? Out ahead of him? or more likely, down, where the cane tip will be placed. You need to think about this from the cane user's perspective. My Mom had a cane years ago where the lower portion was clear plastic and the top was aluminum tubing which held a 2xAA flashlight. The light was directed through the clear plastic and lit the ground around the cane tip. I don't know anything more about it though... sorry.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I had never thought of the headlight type lights but they would be pretty slick.

Most of the time they are mounted straight ahead just because its the easiest way for him to mount them. This is one situation where the blinkies come in handy when he needs to walk in the street.
