CNQualityGoods

Has anyone else had problems with CNQualityGoods? I won’t shop there again.

Item not delivered. Poor Communication. Refund not given.

I ordered a Titanium DQG AAA/10440 flashlight, its stainless twin, and batteries on 10/24/14; and I started following up on 11/19/14 after being notified by the seller that the shipment was returned to the seller. Still no flashlight. Seller is slow to respond or fails to respond to email. The tracking number provided does not appear valid. Seller promised to refund through PayPal but has not. I am filing a claim through PayPal.

I like a bargain as much as the next person, but it’s no bargain to deal with an unresponsive seller!

What Chinese flashlight vendors have excellent service? I don’t want a repeat of that experience.

For a budget light i prefer simon from aliexpress.

Never shopped with them & prices are always higher!

Cnqualitygoods is a good company, all Chinese vendors have mishaps from time to time. The crazy thing is some of the vendors that have the worst reputation are my best vendors. Always file your dispute before 45 days and don’t worry about it.

Funny thing with CNQ, despite the non comm, and poor business strategy he seems to employ, items are likely to arrive later, although not so much sooner.

Why my post appear twice?

I’ve bought from Ric many times.

I’m pretty sure his Skype ID is on the website as that how I added him, just add him and have a chat about it.

Unless something is missing from the story (like he resent it?) I’m sure he would refund the cost without any trouble.

How long has it been since you contacted him? Via email I’ve had to wait bout a week before, so Skype is better if you want a reply faster.

The communication and customer service from CNQ is abysmal. They have some nice lights, but getting a refund from them if they don’t happen to have an item in stock is like pulling teeth.

OK, but does Paypal always side with the buyer?

Keep the Paypal dispute. I am not exaggerating when I say it took me about a year to get only most of what I ordered, I gave up on some minor things he still didn’t get to me or get right, he is just too much trouble to deal with: he wouldn’t get rude but it appears to be a process to try to get his attention to the matter long enough to actually do something about it and go through the same waiting cycle to see if he’d actually respond or send it like he said. I wish I had just filed Paypal in the beginning instead of trust he’d get it right, due to some people having positive relations with him here.

I’m sure there is nothing “missing” from Naam’s story either, in my situation there also was never a reason, and politeness didn’t get any where, as I’m sure the opposite wouldn’t either. He would just keep saying he’d send the order or check, I’d give it time, then I’d write him again asking what happened to the order, he would say he’d check, more time would pass, I’d remind him again, he’d say it was sent, I’d find no tracking, wait months, talk again, same story, he’d say he’s shipping again, circle would start again, etc etc. Though he eventually mostly came through… it was not worth the time. Maybe its just his hobby? Maybe he likes to have a business, but doesn’t want to deal with emails and shipping? Automatically filing a paypal dispute if it doesn’t show at 40 days or so on the nose is a way to buy from him possibly…

99% of the time, yes Paypal will side with the buyer… Sometimes to a fault.

For example, there was a case where a merchant sold 5 new geiger counters via Paypal and all the customers were satisfied except 1 person who wanted a refund claiming it was broken on arrival. The seller refused to accept the return because:

1) The ad stated “all sales are final” (due to reason #2).
2) The product could’ve been contaminated with radioactive material after the buyer used it.
3) The other 4 buyers had no reported issues.
4) The geiger counter was working before shipment and therefore if it arrived broken, the buyer must file a claim against the courier NOT the seller.

Paypal looked at these facts and STILL took the buyers’ side. Paypal refunded the buyer and he got to keep the “broken” geiger counter because the seller refused to take it back and risk getting sick if the buyer contaminated it.

Bought a light from Ric. Emailed him a few times asking for the tracking number. He never gave it to me or reply to single email. Then he threw me on his spam list. Waited almost 45 days to open a PayPal dispute then a claim a few days later. He never replied to PayPal so they gave me a refund.
Ric is a joke LOL

Lights interesting, but bad communication. Often sent wrong track, shipping missing items …. I will not buy them more.

No flashlight, no refund, no communication.

I cannot recommend this seller.

Stick with those with better ratings.

Do keep track of the time for disputes (I did not, my own fault).

Welcome to BLF

Nice first post.

But I understand.

Paypal is longer than 45 days….

Same frustrating experience here. Bought some parts on Feb., 25th and never got any shipment. The tracking number Ric send me was not working, as I’ve found out later. I waited the usual weeks, but nothing. Then I wrote him, got the promise of a replacement shipping. Nothing came. Then, all of a sudden, I’ve got no shipment but my money back through Paypal. At least I had not to file a dispute. I’ve asked Ric again what’s whith the replacement shipping he promised me - no answer so far… It’s a shame, the prices seem to be ok and there where some parts I didn’t found somewhere else.

Weird, I have placed 3 orders from cnq and never had any problems. Granted the process is a little weird, but I always recieve tracking numbers and they work. Shipping has been faster than usual for me.

I guess it’s another Chinese seller lottery.

No, never had a problem with them.

I have done business with Ric several times. In my experience, he had almost zero communications. But I have got all my items in great shape in a fair amount of time.

No complaints from me. But like other say, things happen. While there really is no excuse for not communicating, its a risk I accept. I also know I can fall back on paypal. With all my Chinese vendors, I set a reminder on my phone to check and make sure I got my package prior to 45 days. If not, I file a PP dispute.

I do just like them, no communications, just file with PP. That seems to wake them up.

The first order I made went pretty smooth other than being refunded for some switches he didn’t have in stock (even though they were supposed to be). Delivery time was in line with other Chinese vendors. The order I have in now has been shipped supposedly, but 17track just shows the information has been received. I’m not worried unless there are no updates in the next couple of weeks.

YMMV

10th post actually but thanks for the welcome.

I purchased with credit card which was four months. My mistake in not following up earlier. I just assumed it was delayed by (insert reason here).
