Twiglets yeah!

Fortunately for me, I am the only person in my house that enjoys eating Twiglets.
The women of the house find them objectionable, but today I bought myself about 2lb of the little f@#kers, and plenty of beer too! Happy, happy happy

Oh happy days ! Love them, but I’m getting to an age where things like this wake me up in the middle of the night and I have to take a rennie to kill them!

I wonder, are twiglets a British thing? Do any of you guys have them overseas?

Hopback/Woody ; Please tell what are “Twiglets”.

Is it known by another name around the world ?

This for me unknown product (even though I lived in England for almost a year, but that was 20 years ago) needs a picture:

Strange, but I didn’t know that they were not known throughout the world. To me they are a healthy (made from whole wheat) and nutritious (covered in marmite (vegemite)) beer lovers snack

I thought everyone knew what they are…thanks for the photo djozz!

The only place I’ve seen them sold in the States, is in Texas.

Sometimes we feed them to our Texas rabbits.

Looks like a worm. Yuck!

Just what my 5 year old thinks

My two kids have learnt, If I say it tastes yuk they want a try to confirm I’m telling the truth! As if I would lie to my own family………

You may be shocked to know, most people in the usa have not heard of vegemite either

Never heard of that…

British food !!!

Anybody who listens to 80's pop knows about Vegemite thanks to Men at Work. I must say, I've never heard of Twiglets though, and from the picture, find them to look a bit unsavory...

Exactly what keltex78 said. Most of us know vegemite, and chunder, but today is the first time I’ve heard of Twiglets. I do know what spotted dick is though.

Never heard of chunder before, only heard it as a slang term for someone throwing up, though maybe who ever coined the phrase had just eaten that particular brand of spread

Marmite, you either love it or you hate it

Personally I like it, but strangely can’t stand the taste of twigglets

Very possible! Never had vegemite, but heard only bad things. I think the chunder came from drinking too much beer though.

YAY, it’s Marmite on a stick time, good for earwax recovery and nasal inspection, and eating of course. Now where’s that carton of cheesy footballs.

amazon doesn´t deliver free :frowning:

i always buy pretzel pieces from snyders of hannover if i need some € to get to free shipping

and

love them!

I first heard about Vegemite from the song. I was offered some once but lost all interest as soon as the jar was opened.
