yes you read that right.
i figured with the metal bulb holder i was safe.but after 1 hour it quit.
i set it up for my neighbor to use trick or treat with the grandkids.its the big head version with good throw.the group was coming home and it went out.
fast forward to now. the topic came up about old lights and the 3d was mentioned.“that thing worked great about an hour and died”
well the reflector melted around the holder and cocked the contact out of reach of the strip on the switch.
i heated it up and repositioned it then used ca to fix it in place.i put in a modded magled drop in and it runs barely warm after 30 minutes.
so just a bit of warning as these good old lights are no longer made.
oh and the magled drop in has a chinese luxeon clone in “nature white”.
these old folks are real happy now.
