WTS: Grab Some Great Lights & Stuff...

No, this isn't a hobby-ending sale, but it is a "scaling back" sale, as life has taken on some drastically more important things. For that reason, I have decided to allow myself at least 3 light purchases for 2015, not counting those done for others. And, well, little more needs to be said except that by scooping up anything I might have that you want, you will be helping a friend and his cause. And hey, I do need the money right now! lol

#1) Starry Light w/case, lanyard, and 4 Eneloop batteries included: Original packaging is not included, but the light is in great condition aside from some dirt in the reflector. I just hate the screw-down difficulties this light presents. $25.00 shipped.

#2) 6 x AA-to-D battery spacers with Energizer rechargeables included: Nice, but not very useful for me. $3.00 shipped.

#3) 1 x Sipik Sk68 clone w/ AA battery: Although the clones aren't as good as the originals, these use XP-Es and throw a tight beam. Not a bad EDC at all. Two in the pic (one has been given away). $2.50 shipped.

#4) Solarstorm SP03 (de-domed, 5 amps, made by our own 18650): Have no idea of the exact specs, but it will throw something around 200,000 kcd, I'm told. 3 modes, starts in low and clicks through to high. Beautiful tint. The rubber bands are holding the button on. I have taken it out maybe 5 or 6 times, but it doesn't get the love it deserves. $55 shipped.

#5) Yezl Y3 (XM-L2 T6, stock): About 60,000 cd or so. In fairly good condition. Ii just doesn't see much use these days. $20 shipped.

#6) ebay Q5 XR-E thrower with charging port: Nothing fancy, and fairly dinged up, but a good beater light or host. $3.00 shipped

#7) Solarstorm Warrior (XML U2 version): In perfect condition. Used maybe 4 times. 2,153 lumens with momentary. 1,856 lumens with constant on. Very nice light with battery gauge lights and good regulation and heat management. I just can't find a use for it nowadays. $30.00 shipped.

#8) Convoy L4 (XM-L2 U2, cw version): Somewhat used, but works just fine. $17.00 shipped.

#9) SAIK SA-9 (stock, not much can be said): Just tired of this light, "long" mode memory. It is an original version, not a clone. Comes with a cheap UF blue low-capacity 18650. $3.00 shipped.

#10) Rayovac 4 AA-AAA charger (can charge 8 batteries altogether, 4 AAs or 4 AAAs, front and back). Plain, but a very good old charger. I have no need for it anymore. Like some of these, it has been in storage a while. $3.00 shipped.

#11) BASICALLY NEW! 26650 Keeppower battery, 4500 mAh: Has seen only 1 charge cycle and 30 minutes of use for testing. Performs superbly as you would expect. $12.00 shipped.

#12) BASICALLY NEW! 2 x Trustfire Flames 2400 mAh 18650s: As above, they have only seen a single charge cycle. No issues with regard to performance. $8.00 shipped.

#13) 6 x battery storage cases: Pretty basic, but they are nothing if not very useful. $3.00 shipped.

*** - NON-working or problematic lights - ***

#14) 980L clone: I will never buy another. About all one can do with them is make them direct-drive since there is no room for a good driver, but here it is to anyone interested. $3.00 shipped.

#15) Keygos KE-5: It was one of my prized lights until a slight flickering started to render it unable to turn on inexplicably for segments of time. It comes with the original - and a better - tailcap. $3.00 shipped.

#16) Black HD2010 with XM-L2 T6: The light mostly works, but sometimes has to have the tailcap screwed off and back on since it won't come on when clicked. After that, it is fine. But the problem isn't in the tailcap. That I know for sure. Very powerful and very throwy, but it has become somewhat unreliable--it's official in that this is the 6th HD2010 I've had malfunction. I will never have or recommend one again. For those I recommended them to, I am truly sorry! $17.00 shipped.

#17) XINTD X3: Was one of the brightest XM-L2 U2 lights I've ever had, but it then just quit coming on one day and was always picky with batteries. The spacer included will just barely accommodate even small and thin unprotected cells. And, well, despite its solid build, I just never took to this light. $15.00 shipped.

NOTES: All prices include shipping to you. Just use PayPal - no need to gift, just do it like a normal transaction. CON-U.S. only (sorry, to those of you across the pond!). All items, if not sent out today, will be dispatched this coming Monday as I will be out of town in a few hours here and won't be back for a couple days. First-come, first-serve; I will take PMs in the order they were sent. I have a strict no-drama selling policy I hold to! :-)

I'll take both #14 and #15, the 980L and the KE-5...

ill take 13

I'll take #2

I'll also take #6, the ebay thrower... Put them all in the same box! Laughing

I will take #16 & #17

I’ll take #3 and #8

Please make sure I have a valid and current shipping address in the PP notes or a PM.

Man, OL beat me to it. #17 is a great deal

Bump for great light! How were you able to remove the handle off of the sp03!? I can’t find wrenches in that size. I also have the 18 six fifty version. It’s really a nice powerful light once it’s modded. It’s at least 200 kcd and 2500 lumens.

I would swoop on that y3 but just purchased one a few days ago. Might get another hehe

Metric allen wrenches should work. Just get a set out of one of the hardware stores.

I had to take the SP03 to work and get a maintenance guy get it in the table-mounted vice grips and really put some torque onto it. He did it on the first try, though, the first big press-down-and-push. I fully admit, I couldn't get it myself.

I’ll take 4, 5 and 8 PM sent.

crap i missed out on # 16, 17, and the AA-D spacers.

If you paid today, your lights should be going out to you within an hour and a half from now. The rest will head out Monday in the AM sometime. Thanks, my friends.

Im surprised no one has grabbed up the 18650s and 26650. They are now $7 and $11 shipped, respectively. :-)

I don’t know why this place has Budget in the name, I seem to spend a lot of money here.

Join the club, my friend. Join the club.

Rusty Joe - I’m just curious, but have you already picked out the lights you plan to buy? Or maybe you’re just planning on purchasing ~three lights which seem nice for you (as long as the price is in reason / etc)? I’m not headed anywhere special with the question… mostly if you’ve got your three+ lights for the year already picked out I’m interested in what they are.

Well, this keeps changing. I was going to go with a BTU Shocker, a TK35 modded clone with XM-L2 U3, and a XINTD XP-G2 R5 C8 from IO, but then I saw the new XHP series and want to hold out for one of those! Can't decide. Since finances are tight right now anyway, I may wait till March or so.
