Help me with my next big purchase!

Hi everyone. I think I have convinced myself to buy a little treat and I need some input from the friendliest group of enthusiasts I know.

I really want a light with infinite output adjustment and the selector ring is a very attractive feature to me. Which is why these two lights are in my running:

1. Nitecore Infilux IFE2

I love the color, the aggressive knurling but the lower output of the R5's after being used to my xml's may seem lacking to me:( I love the 18650 capability as well.

2. Sunwayman V10A

I like the 14500 capability but don't like that it is on the bigger side for AA, and doesn't have the capacity of an 18650 light.

3. Zebralight SC600

I love the compact 18650 size, the color and the xml output. I also love the sideswitch and the fact that I've heard only good things of zebralight. No clip though? :( Apparently one is on its way in the design department.

Are there any other lights I should be considering? What are your opinions on the 3 that I have been browsing. Each of them have different reasons for me wanting them, but I want to come out of this as happy as possible.

Is there a infinite selector ring style light in 18650 form with an xm-l?

Thankyou again my fellow BLF'ers for your assistance in spending my hard earned dollars :P

I think the Zebralight is the more interesting of the three to me. Not that I would particularly use the high much and would probably keep high on the 200-300 setting.

The others are expensive for a 1 AA light and aren't all that bright. The rotating ring appealed to me more when I first started reading about those. I've considered Sunwayman as well. The only rotating ring I have is a 3 setting one with a MC-E dive light. It's fine there but with infinite settings you never know exactly what setting you're on.

I like the infinite ring method better than the infinite ramping method. I have that in BD Storm headlamp. Ramping is slower than a ring obviously.

Since I got my Zebralights (H51 and H51f) I like that user interface better than any of the other systems. You don't really need infinite settings you just need more choices than 3 but you don't want to have to cycle through more than 3.

I think if you are going to spend a little more money than the typical budget light you want to spend it on a great user interface and unless you are talking about a headlamp you probably want something more than a simple 1 AA XP-G.

The thing about the Zebralight interface is that you have a lot of choices but they are all easy to get to and you know exactly what lumen level they are (and therefore how much battery power they are going to consume).

That's my feedback anyway :)

Thanks for your feedback!! Greatly appreciated! Btw, the Nitecore is actually 18650. The sunwayman is the only aa light of the bunch:)

Be sure to post whatever you decide to get!
