C_K modded lights for sale- nitecore EA8 thrower, Thrunite TN30 triple MK-R

I'm listing several lights for sale, we have an unexpected car repair expense (around $1100, I had to rebuild the motor in my truck) so everything has to go. Sorry for the 2 threads, I knew I wanted to sell my MT-G2 F30R but I need to be responsible and list these others as well before my wife kills me...

Prices are shipped USPS tracked and insured CONUS+3, international add $12 (add more for international insurance, I'll have to get quotes for insurance)

First is my Nitecore EA8, this light has been resistor modded to run at 3.8A to the emitter. LED is an XP-L V6 2A dedomed on Noctigon. The factory Al emitter shelf has been removed and replaced with a 16Ga copper plate (pressed in for a tight fit) and now the body heats up instantly! This is probably the most performance you'll get out of AA (it can run on just 4AA at full power to save weight or if you dont have 8 matched cells but still runs perfect on 8AA too). 1230Lm OTF and 180kCd! Great factory UI with true momentary operation. Moonlight threw turbo (and all other levels) work. $52.50

I have no pic's of the EA8 hosted but can email them however nothing is wrong with it, no damage at all. It's perfect and ready for a new home. If you'd like to see pic's (and you're a serious buyer) send me an email to the link below with EA8 in the subject line and I'll reply with pics

edit: I highly suggest you do not use alkaline's in this light, the current draw is to much to be safe. In an emergency where alkalines are all that's available then try to only use lower modes

Next is my Thrinute TN30, this is an ongoing project of mine. The light does run great as-is and has a beautiful beam / tint. Neutral white 12v MK-R's mounted on sinkPAD's. The only issue is that IT REQUIRES 4.35v cells to run at max output! Running 4.2v cells you will only see a brightness increase up to level 4. 5 and 6 (and strobe) all still work fine, but at 12.6v there just isnt enough voltage overhead for full power to the emitters, the extra voltage from the 4.35's will allow max output. Currently there is a total of .025ohm resistance and once you have it you can add more if you wish. The LED's are wired in parallel in this thing because factory the XM-L's run 3s. Only this one pic is hosted but once again I have plenty more to email. Oh also, EVERY spring in the light / batt carrier is bypassed. Take over my project for $110 (the light is minimum $100 when bought used and the emitters are $25 plus the unavailable to buy sinkPAD's, 18AWG wire, resistor mod and other work)

Note- there is nothing wrong with the 7:30 emitter, not sure why you can see a difference in the opposite dies in that one and not the others cause they're all like that, 2 dies (in each emitter) are slightly cooler and the opposite 2 are slightly warmer. Brightness appears to be the same between them, the difference you see in this pic is the CT difference.

Once again, for additional pictures please email the link in my sig with the light you would like to see in the subject line and I'll reply with pic's. Sorry for the inconvenience, my photobucket is full.

free bump

Fairly certain that's the EA8 I traded to you that got modded... and if so I can vouch that it was in mint condition when it left me, and guessing CK's work, looks the same now.

If you still need a buyer for it, I'll take it.
