Uniquefire T-20 at $16.99

Hi all

I found this (don't think it has been posted on BLF before).

UniqueFire UF-T20

Has anyone bought from that store, and knows if the lens is plastic or glass?

GREAT!

Got one…thanks

Dang that’s the cheapest price I’ve ever seen on that T20…

IIRC that is the common Ali price, bought one half a year ago at 17$. I wonder if I can pretend to have a need for another one…
I’ll have to cut down a little €/$ is pretty horrible at the moment. All the stuff is 20% more expensive than it was mid last year.

Oops. Ordered one :-)

I assume this is not as bright as the ZeusRay (which has now become the TurdRay)?

Not that bright but throws very well and is build really sturdy. Has a thick battery tube and a great glass lens. Put an xp-g2 in there and the fun begins.

Thanks.

I wrote a message to the Aliexpress store, asking them if it indeed has a glass lens. Some Uniquefires have glass lens, some have plastic, and this does not say so. They haven't replied yet.

Ordered one anyway :-) - need two for my IR builds, so I ordered one from Gearbest ( where it says glass in the description), and the one I linked to here.

I don't actually know if it makes any difference if its glass or not :-)

Reflection through glass is different than plastic, but in general, no big deal.

I ordered one through Amazon still under $20. It will be a month before I see it.

I was hoping Mtn Electonics would have gotten new stock but that didn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.

Brass pill; glass lens; fits large protected cells; nice beam; comes apart with ease; good finish; 2.4 amps to the XM-L; every spring and the pill was soldered in 2 places…

Pretty good build!

Only con I found was that is had a little too much grease on threads and O-rings.

Can you recommend a quality, circuit protected battery and charger from the same AliExpress.
Also, do you know the estimated shipping time?

I got mine from Amazon and it got here in two weeks:

I can only recommend XTAR chargers. They also make some pretty good cells.

You might consider mtn electronics. They have 3400ma 18650 cells that are what they say they are.
They also have a huge selection of XTAR chargers. And it is a domestic reseller.

Thanks for the referrals.
Have seen 18650 batteries >3400ma - 4000 and even higher.
Are these batteries rated correctly?
What is highest rated ma possible for an 18650 and what criteria do you use for purchasing such batteries?
Thank-you.

Plastic lenses tend to be better optically, but also scratch easier.

most probably they’re not correct.
there are panasonic up to 3600, very rare, and I saw LG rated at 3500
those 4000 are fake for sure, and very probably very bad fakes (normally those kind of people selling fakes tend to use very bad quality/old cells, or even tiny cells into the 18650 tubes to maximize margins)

yep, what totilde said.

We know the tech has just reached 3600ma and 3400mah “genuine” Panasonics can only be had from reputable suppliers.
One of the nice things about XTAR is that they go after clones.

I’ve tested the 3400 EVVA cells from Mtn Electronics and they certainly are genuine Panasonic cells.
