what should I do about messed up battery order?

I ordered 7 NCR18650PF batteries from a company. They sent me 4 of the NCR18650PF’s and 3 Samsung 25R’s. Would you fight this, or just leave it be? They are essentially the same price so it isn’t that big of a deal money wise.

I guess it depends what you want. I personally like the 25R better. If you want the PF’s, I wouldn’t hesitate to ask the seller to make it right.

My only reason for the PF’s was extended run time on lights higher than norm amps

If you really want the extended run time the Pana 18650BD 3200mah or the Efest 18650 3100mah.

The 25R will give you a lot more oomph than the PF so you probably have a good mix. If they were the same money I would probably leave it alone and look for deals on the above mentioned.

well if its troublesome to return and resend, just leave it.

In the end it’s really up to what you want it for. But if I were to get such mix, I would be ok with it. A good runtime vs “Wow!” mix-up.

I got them for a decent price so I’ll just leave it alone. I paid $33.61 shipped for the 7 batteries which is $4.80 each.

yup, I may be offering some batteries for sale here in the near future. I have a bunch of laptop pulls that are going to be sold, and I plan on replacing them with better cells.

I have to wonder if they knew they were sending you different to what you originally ordered? Or was it a mistake? If the former it would piss me off. If the latter, those things happen I guess.

I’ve already contacted the company. They admitted it was a mistake and apologized. Actually, they said it was the fault of 2 separate employees, since there are multiple checks to insure accuracy. I’m keeping the 25R’s and they are giving me a credit as well.

Now that’s an even better deal. I kinda want to know the company so I can order from them.

Now thats as it should be when return postage is too costly for them to cover. Good on them for doing whats right, and lucky you with free 25Rs.
