C8 with extension from tmart for less then 10 bucks.

Seemed like a good deal.

I was looking for an extension tube for one of my C8’s and ended up finding this by mistake. I plan on putting a mt g2 in it so I wanted the ability to use 2 18650’s. I then plan on using the driver and led in a different light that has a really old led in it.

Not an affiliate link… FYI.

It claims to run at 10w and to have a t6 in it at 900 lumens. I’m assuming it’s an xml.

Claims to have an aluminum reflector and a coated glass lens.

I used the code: FOOL for 5% off. Came to $9.66. The promo code ends in a few days. I’ll post back when I get it with what I think of it.

The picture with the LED shows a XM-L.

A problem could be the length of the battery tube, if you use protected 18650 with more as 2600mAh.
Formerly 18650 batteries were shorter (round about 67-68mm). Most of the protected 3100/3400mAh have 69-70mm and two doesn't fit in the battery tube.

I didn’t realize there were more pictures, good find.

If that’s an issue I’ll have to pick up some shorter batteries.

Thanks for the heads up.

humm MT-G2?

Yuppers! Got one of the 16mm ones on sale from Intl Outdoors.

and look hard at whether they’re protected or not

I bought one from Tmart last month and it came with a messed up driver or something. It only does moonlight. Planning on making it a XHP50 hand warmer anyway.

Has an aluminum pill with a 16mm MCPCB. The ID of the pill is 19.5 mm, so a 21mm SinkPad will have to be sanded down. Don’t know the size of a 20mm Noctigon off the top of my head, but I imagine that would have to be sanded too.

Does anyone else have one of these ? What’s the

good and bad things for this cheap light ?

Jubledum says he bought one, I’ll post back here as well after I get mine. Guess I’ll have to figure out how to post pics.

I’ll post the true amps and if my protected xtAr 1850’s fit.

I saw his post. I’m trying to get info in addition to

what happened with Jubledum.

Lol, hence your “else”.

Sorry.

My C8 was shipped from the New Jersey warehouse. It didn’t come in a box. It was wrapped inside bubble wrap inside of a shipping bag.

It had some nicks in it’s black paint and it’s lens is dirty scratched looking. I plan on buying a lens from Richard one of these days when I get around to doing something with it.

So it arrived to you almost totally not working , with

nicks in the paint and the lens not right. What type of

reflector—smooth or orange peel ? What LED is it ?

Does anyone else have any good or bad experiences

with this light ?

It has a XML and a SMO reflector. Something is messed up because it only has one mode and it’s moonlight. I haven’t removed the driver to see what it is but it has to be a buck to work with 2 cells. The driver doesn’t have a spring on it.

I bought it with intentions of using it as a host for making a XHP50 hand warmer so having a dud driver didn’t bother me.

It also operates with 1 cell, correct ? Who else out

there can add any knowledge about this cheap light ?

Go ahead and get off your wallet. Today is the last day you can use the coupon code FOOL.

Got mine today. Mt-g2 fits perfectly in the reflector without any mod.

2 protected 18350s fit in the light perfectly without an extension. 2 protected 18650s fit perfectly with extension.

Box was destroyed, poorly packed. Reflector was all metal, cheap glass lense that was poorly cut but works. Some orings were messed up.

Very similar to my other ultrafire c8, but not as finely finished.

Stock 17 mm driver sucked. Pulled 800 Mah at the tail.

Came with a xm-l on a 16mm mcpcb in a much bitter hole. Solid Al pill.

The light worked fine with 1 cell and 2.

I’m happy with the shipping speed, just shy of 3 weeks.

I am happy with this order. I just needed a cheap host. I would order again.

Is this the standard quality of items bought from TMart? I have never used them, just heard of them from BLF threads and am curious if they are worth ordering from.

just my experience but I have ordered 3 lights from them (Tmart)before and the only decent one I got out of the 3 was still not what it was supposed to be.

This one measured 232 lumens on high (advertised 2000) which was bogus to begin with…lol

This one advertised 1600 lumens and barely gets better than a moonlight mode.

This one although in good working order and bright ….rated at 3800 lumens MAYBE getting half that.
