Has anyone pulled the trigger on this?? "Jaws Light"

I'm curious how well it preforms, my $10.99 zoomie I bought from this seller pulls 1.6-2.05A on the tail cap. So I figure this may be another little rocket ship for $10.99

I don't own this light... but I like the shark symbol. (However, I don't think that Spielberg would approve.)

"researched and produced by a Proffessonal LED illuminating gear Manufacturer"

I just noticed it has a brass pill... its been bought I will post a mini review when it comes :)

It looks similar to an Akoray (sp?) I have. You may be able to screw in the P60 pill of your choice (sans reflector)

Its a XRE. No way will it even put out 400 lumens at the emitter

Bulb: CREE LED, 400 lumens output(Max) ...<<Written in blue in the ad ... blue isn't a color to be proud of when over rating an led .

I'm still waiting for the ad that says under driven q3 with bad pwm and cheap threads .SoS that is missing an O.Will take 45 days to ship.plastic lens no extra charge for the scratch .Purple tint with artifacts .No returns as our company is going out of business .

It says right in the add....

Welcome to buy "JawsLight " Flashlight , researched and produced by a Proffessonal LED illuminating gear Manufacturer

Now I ask you this... how could I possibly go wrong???? Seriously every once in a while you can come up with a pretty sweet deal. You just have to expect some junk along with it.

well since you put it like that ... sure ..probably a great light .Who needs specs when you've got Proffessonals researching and producing illuminating gear for you. Who can argue with that ..

* Suitable for home maintenance, outdoor activities, hiking, map reading, night fishing, night flying, camping, sailing, caving, hunting, etc.

Now here's the night flying flashlight I've been searching for. Laughing

I have 2 flashlights made by that company and I like them.

This little light here really impressed me. Bright and throws a very tight narrow beam.

It's got to be one of the best deals on ebay. Extremely well built.

I just pulled the trigger on the torch from the OP. Looks like a great host and does appear to take a p60 drop in. Looking forward to finding out for sure. Should make an excellent XM-L host!

I prefer it in black from the same supplier.

Yeah, me too. Unfortunately I already pulled the trigger on the silver model before I thought to look for a black one. Oh well...my fiance always jokes about most all of my torches being black so this will make her happy. I can always order a black one if they are as nice as I suspect them to be. At the price you can't go wrong.

Mine came today after only ten days.

Pro:

-it works

-quite bright with really smooth beam (throws quite good)

-nice reflector without imperfections

-decent brass pill

-nice threads

-good tailswitch

-lightweight

Cons:

-quite bad surface finish, looks more like paint, some imperfections around logo, machining traces can be found.

-no o-ring between front bezel and lens (can be added)

-doesn't tail stand

-pill has no dimples and it can be difficult to remove

-driver difficult to remove as it's held in place with pressure fit brass ring

-original driver drives led at 1.3 A (could be too much on a longrun)

I replaced original driver with NANJG AK47a driver and it's still very bright.

Overall not so bad for the price.

Still waiting for mine to arrive. What color did you get? the grey or the black?

Thanks for letting us know. So far sounds like a pretty good deal. There isnt much else in this price range for a 18650 light.

Grey

Me too. Bummer…with the finish issues I was hoping you got the black.

What sold me, was the 100% brand new spec. I hate it when I only get a 50% brand new flashlight.
