Experiences with budget suppliers
For me Dealextreme has been pretty good - just don't order from them in the Christmas rush or Chinese New Year. QualityChinaGoods used to be my supplier of choice, but not so cheap these days. KaiDomain has been very, very slow but reliable till my last order which they got wrong. Never had an error from QCG but they were pretty slow. KD is always very slow, DX can be quick. But I live in Europe, not the USA so wonder if others experiences differ.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

Thanks for the experiences!

For newcomers, the following abbreviation apply:

DX = Dealextreme            ( http://dealextreme.com )

KD = Kaidomain               ( http://kaidomain.com )

GCG = Qualitychinagoods ( http://qualitychinagoods.com )

By the way, on this forum it's perfectly acceptable to post direct links to the products or sites that you are discussing, as long as you don't spam the forum with junk.  I'll try not to be an iron-fisted moderator.

Yes please, that would be a big help!  In fact, I could even add a ranking "5 star" system.

Let's put each dealer in it's own thread.

Would you like to create a new thread for each of those too?  I'll get around to putting a 5-star voting module on here sometime soon.

Oops, sorry, wasn't clear on that.  Could you make a new post so each dealer has its own thread?  Just click the "New topic" button here in this forum: http://budgetlightforum.cz.cc/forum/marketplace/dealers

Thanks for helping with the list.

OK everyone, I have the 5-star rating sytem working, please give it a shot and let me know of any bugs you find.  I have enabled it for the budget dealers listed so far in this forum.

From now on your posts can contain the voting widget, please use it mainly for budget dealer ratings and individual flashlight reviews. Notice the menu option "Fivestar" below the editor window when you make a new post, and enable it if you want.

Enjoy!

I'm glad to learn about other places, especially other places that I know what I'm gettting in to. Thanks to all for their recommendations.

I have experiences with a seller (www.hkequipment.net), pretty good, but it is hard to classified this to a budget seller.

As I know, only a few budget lights in there and price is a bit higher may be about $2-3 from others.

I like them because two things :
a) their shipping really fast to my country, other tooks about 15-25 days, they can do it just for 8-10days. It seem that they pay more on stamp cost. I ordered from DX, it has been 7 days, my order still in process at Hongkong Post. Ordered from CQG on Feb 26, shipped on March 1, just leave HK on March 9.
b) on some branded flash, their price is less than others

Manafont seems good, glad found it.

Thanks for helping with the list.

I don't know if the hobby chargers do this, but a lot of NiMH chargers use pulse charging where they charge at a high pulse rate and then back off. This is supposed to be good for breaking up the crystals (or whatever) that cause memory problems and reduce battery capacity, and also gives a cleaner signal that the battery is full. But if you sustained that pulse the battery would get too hot.
