Looks like a NCR18650 “clone” from LG. Probably a low cost (and lower performing) version of the MJ1. With the energy storage market rapidly expanding, all the Li-ion company’s are trying to undercut each other to gain market share. So [I] expect a lot of these 80-90% of ‘premium’ cell rated cells to show up in the coming months/years. There will also be a push for improved cycle life performance rather than super high capacity and power ratings.

i think you are on to something about the GRADE B=2
i wonder of the Sanyo Panasonics are inherently better with less B-2 coming out of there factories
Sanyo Panasonics have been doing this a long time now and i am going to go with the 3400 Sanyo NCR18650BF
i do not think the LG MJ1 will be better or worth more then the 3400 S/P and i do not need the 10 amp of the LG the 5-6 amp of the S/P are more then enough for my Flashaholic addiction and any power bank
BTW i am getting the NCR18650BF for ~ $4.30 @ Ali E. (in a 12 pack)
and i just ordered the Liitokala lii500 so i can test them
BTW the Liitokala lii500 will show the TOTAL capacity in “mAh” and the internal resistance “mR” 2 VERY IMPORTANT parameters for any Li-ion
Mostly the same info here:
http://www.keeppower.com.cn/products_detail.php?id=524
Good for 4.8A discharge, and 3250mAh.
well in short on my 1st reading of the Lii-500 and my new 1st cycle Sanyo NCR18650BF
i got a reading of 3115mAh
i hope it goes up
Very affordable high capacity cell.
Cheers ^:)
Not really so affordable, once you hit the checkout button.
i usually rip these out of BRAND NAME power banks even some LESSER NAME ones use the F1L and i get them for
under $2 each some brands to look for a LeTV Lumsing Rav Power and many others have F1L inside
notes after ripping
the LeTV also are QC 2.0 so i only ripped one
*the Lumsing are utter !#$* and the only thing to do is rip them apart for the Cells (and i mean !
#:money_mouth_face:
the Rav Power are very well made and hard to rip open
all and been on sale at one time or anther and average $2 a cell
good luck and happy hunting
BTW the king is still the Sanyo/Panasonic as in my NCR18650
i am sure Elon Musk had a reason when they chose Sanyo/Panasonic (Japan)
over the Koreans like LG, Samsung
I bought them last year in korea website.(one for about 3 USD)
they are good cells for torch which does not require over 5A
