First impressions:
Shipped from: buyincoins http://www.buyincoins.com/item/41868.html

I purchased this flashlight for the low price and the nice look, at the moment it’s the only flashlight with handle which i hold in my little collection.
I have to say that i received a “similar aspect” flashlight like you can confront.

I made lots of research on the net (it needed a lot of time!), finding other shops that sell similar branded/unbranded with different names……

Modes and estimated lumens:
Switch type: ELECTRONIC
There are “ 3 ” modes in the following order:
Hi – low – strobo .
You need to press all modes to turn it off.

My estimated lumens are 150/200

>>LIGHT >>> The angle of refraction:

Weight and dimensions measurements (made myself, not by specs):
This flashlight weighs precisely 337 gr
Height 15,9 cm
Diameter 5 cm
Head diameter 6,6 cm

Construction quality:
In terms of appearance and general build, i can’t say anything bad, it does have an hole where to insert the li-ion charger plug, and does work.
One thing i found poorly designed is the battery holder. It is easy to insert them but….there is only a little gap near the “+” and it’s not easy for the fingernail to grab out the first battery. After the first one, the second battery is easy to push out…
As pictures demonstrate…there’s nothing else to say

Lanyard hole: NOT PRESENT

Threads came NOT GREASED, but this is not a big con, i used my grease.(mine isn’t an high quality one, but you can buy a top notch if you prefer)

Led Tint, reflector and lense:
The led is well centered and its tint is cold white
Reflector made of: SMOOTH – PLASTIC
Lense made of: PLASTIC

Outside beamshot at 25 meters, only at FULL power (same place for all my reviews)

Wall beamshot at 250 centimeters, from lower to higher power (same place for all my reviews)

Ceiling bounce test with LUXmeter:

PROS:

- cheap

- rather strong as thrower, long range comparable to courui D01(but not as wide)

- decent overall quality

  • long runtime thanks to 2 batteries and low power

CONS:

- low light power

- too much narrow beam

  • not comfortable to extract batteries from holder

Final thoughts and why you should buy it:
It isn’t a flashlight what you would love for most things, but if you are looking for a thrower with small hotpot…this is the flashlight!
Runtime is good but after all it’s a sufficient flashlight….nothing more.

Thanks for reading……
….and if you notice some bad written phrases, feel free to correct me suggesting the right way to write it!!

Those are very good photos.

you will be SURPRISED i only used a smartphone to do them…… a samsung galaxy mega 6.3 (8mpx for 4/3 and 6mpx for 16/9 pictures)

but i made A LOT OF attempts before to find the best pictures… perfectly in focus, right light… etc.

for all my actual reviews used the galaxy MEGA 6.3

Thanks for review!

14$ is really cheap!

I wonder how could it compare to Jacob A60 as a thrower and how much more it could be modded and then compared to modded Jacob.

If you look up “miner lamp” under images they all look very different.

If you look up “handheld searchlight” under images then i think your in the right area.

SO i think you got a funny phrase in your title that you may want to change.

02

you are right  i change now … thank you

I'm thinking a dedomed XP-G2 will be required? :p

A solid shelf is good... 2x parallel 18650s. Maybe an even cheaper alternative to the ZY-T08 for someone who would be modding anyway. Depending on the driver, this could be a really good host option for a DIY thrower.

i am surprised how the huge tall walled centering ring failed to block light from the led

nice review.

I’ve seen a lot of these in my local street market. Never really impressed with the hollow pills in what I see

Glad to see yours comes with a solid shelf

Where do I get one of those “Flashlight light angle of refraction” papers?

So an amazing thrower you say?
I see this as a host only. No point in having such low output from this beast of a light.
Please make measurements from the parts for swapping. Driver size? Space above the driver for mod?

Excellent review and excellent light.

Can you please make a beamshot on the wall of the building with the courui and this at the same time? You say that this has smaller hotspot than the courui?

+1
