I love Solarforce 18650 hosts, and have been collecting/using them, for the past three years. I didn’t notice a thread where people could submit pictures of their collections, so it could be found in a single thread. If such a thread already exists, moderators, please feel free to merge this post into that Thanks!
This was the one that started it all for me.
SolarForce L2N, with custom Erik Kress XM-L 7C (very warm tint), 5-mode, with B6 bezel, A001 Head, and S11 stainless forward clicky switch
The auto white balance kind of left this beam looking washed-out. The tint is actually extremely warm (unlike in the picture lol).
I’ve got sixteen lights, to date, and am anxious to pick up more. The P60 platform was a stroke of genius, making it possible to keep up-to-date with the latest LED emitters, without having to buy a whole new light. Love it!
This is probably my favorite shot of the bunch. I took it very recently. My most-used Solarforce light I have is the L2P, laying down in between the row of lights, and the 2-cell L2D18, both of which are loaded with Sportac triple Nichia 219 drop-ins. The L2P is using the 2-mode drop-in and the L2-D18 has the single mode, installed.
My other drop-ins are by Customlites, EDC+, Malkoff, International Outdoors, and I have one on the way from Mountain Electronics (A 3-mode XM-L2 T5 5D3, with orange peel reflector).
I would love to see pictures of your collections, and hear any comments you may have on any of them (which are your favorites, which ones you’d like to buy in the future, etc.).
