Summer Update

I’ve finished my two years of Air Force life last week.
I should be visiting BLF more often from now on.

Glad to be back!

Enjoy it the best you can, I am sure you will look at flashlights differently after you look through the night vision equipment. Good luck!

Much continued good luck to you!

Fantastic. good luck.

Good luck on your life experience!

Don't do anything I would do...

or else you'll turn into a raccoon. ;)

Remember that Boot Camp is supposed to be hard, but it will pass and you will enjoy what comes after.

I’m from an older generation - different country , different times , different world.
We also used to have 2 yrs. mandatory service. One thing - you will learn a lot. Especially about yourself.
Good luck !

Good luck Ryansoh3. I’d bet it will all go well for you.

Good luck and be proud of serving your country. Weren’t you were going to college in the US. Did you get in a year of school before you had to report for military duty?

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Yup, I was attending in the US for a year, and most people seem to start their service right after their first year of college before they really delve into their majors.

and thank you Sincerely for your service to our country ! see you when you are done with bootcamp

I read your battery pack thread and found it useful, thank you for posting.

Remember boot camp is not about you, no matter what don’t take it personally.

And its ok to make fun of Kim Jong Un.

The South Korean military gets a lot of respect from Americans, in Vietnam, they say that the North Vietnamese soldiers and the VC, were terrified of them.

Thanks for your support, I’ll need every bit of it!

Korea has an insane military budget… It maintains its military personnel with a 2-year mandatory military service and has the second largest reserve military personnel in the world, all because of our neighbor to the North.

Best of luck with your service Ryan, I look forward to the skills you will bring back here with you.

Godspeed ryansoh3. We’ll miss you and look forward to your return.

All the best and thanks for the many varied posts and threads you have here being both informative and amusing.

Whatever you do, resist the urge to tweak the grenades.

Good luck in the service! It sounds like a very useful job you will have over there. And of course I'm looking forward to see you back over here :-)

Good luck!
