BLF Site-related Issues

Sorry about that! If you noticed that BLF disappeared, it’s because it literally did disappear. :open_mouth:

(For the techies: I was tidying up and pulled the perennial Big Mistake™ of trying to delete a symlinked directory with rm -R, which happened to be linked to the root of BLF. :ghost: )

Fortunately I had just created a quick manual backup apart from our normal nightly backups, which saved our collective posterior glutei. The only thing is that if you just changed your avatar in the last couple of minutes or uploaded a file via PM (not sure if you have that permission actually) it’s gone.

Nope, no break-from-BLF vacations. :slight_smile: The database was untouched, just the flat files that connect to the database and render the site.

Hmm... I disabled Adblock Plus and the problem still exists...

Luckily, it's not all that important, so I won't worry about it. ;)

I think I figured it out.

There is no problem when I use Firefox or Internet Explorer.

With Chrome, I disabled Adblock Plus (as advised) and, using CCleaner, I kept these two cookies:

blogblog.com

blogger.com

Now it works on my desktop! :crown:

Tomorrow I'll see if I can get it to work with Chrome on my laptop. 8)
