Hello from sunny South Africa!

Hi all

At last I feel qualified to introduce myself, as I’m as of today the proud owner of a Fenix TK75 and a Sunwayman D40A, and also have 3 Fenix E25’s on their way to me (two of them gifts for friends).

I’ve also got a cheap knock-off of one of those 6 LED Skyray King beer-can flashlights, which probably needs some modification to realize it’s full potential.

I’m also converting my old incandescent flashlights to LED, because I can’t bear to throw stuff away which still work. Unfortunately my electronics background is skimpy, and I look forward to improve my knowledge with the help of this forum.

Kind regards

Welcome to the forum!!! Make sure bot to overlook the GB!!

You’ll like it here  but your wallet wont

Lots of nice people share their knowledge and will help you learn new stuff.

Welcome to blf. I recently spent 6weeks in johanasberg and Durban with my wife’s family I took over a heap of lights as gifts and noticed that everyone wanted to buy them off me because of load shedding. I think you could import good quality torches and sell them.

Welcome to the forum. You sound like you belong here.

Fenix TK75 and a Sunwayman D40A? Damn, you started out well. I bought a ton of junk lights before finally bought those two great lights. You're a very discerning buyer. Congrats.

Have you seen RaceR86's mod thread for the TK75 here? With a very simple resistor mod you can take turbo from 2.88 amps per emitter to 3.65 amps.

The more you read on this forum the more you will want to buy.

Welcome, it is indeed nice here in sunny SA… Nice to see another bok….

People do appreciate the lights I have sold/passed on here in SA with all the loadshedding, that is for sure.

I think your lights are truly awesome, don’t own one of them, but we definitely do not have the same budget, you and I….

Enjoy your time here,

Anton
