You’re telling me…I always preferred Seven over T’Pol….but not by much. I can’t answer your question as I don’t have the 1505, but I would say my zoomies typically outthrow my C8 if that’s what you are looking for. And welcome to the forum.

Lights with reflector like C8 will always be brighter because you lose less lumens than an aspheric glass.
ha ha imagine those 2 with some baby oil and a box full of kippers… does the 1505 come with a red emitter?
I think I would rather have a convoy c8 but I really need it to have a pressure switch. and not a momentary one either - it needs to lock - like the 1505 one
So buy the C8 and then buy a 1505 tailcap with remote switch. Then take the remote switch out of the tail cap and put it in the convoy tailcap, job done.
