Damn that’s tiny!

beamshot and beamshot comparison.

Ever since I’ve reluctantly gifted my Olight I1 I’ve been looking for a replacement. This one might just qualify.

Can’t wait!

i get mine this (or next :_( ) week….

the more pictures i see the less patient i am… :frowning:

Tiny is fine - until you realise none of your protected 16340s will fit. At least, that's an issue I have with my S10. Had to shim the tailcap but now the O-ring is not fully covered.

Make sure to check the specs before getting too excited. Primaries or unprotected I guess would be no problem.

good hint!

i have only the 16340 from my S10R which i wanted to use…
cross fingers

Olight 3.7V 650mAh protected 16340 (ORB-163P06) works fine. I am not aware of the problem for the previous series. I guess it is a good time for upgrade?

thanks for the relief!

i have one of those - but they are marked RCR123?

Had no problem with protected Xtar cells.

My S1 runs fine with 16340 Klarus protected and Nitecore NL166 protected.

+1.

Thanks for the brands guys

I'm using Keepower 16340s. A spot check with my cheap vernier shows them at 36.33mm long. They won't fit the Sunwayman V11R I picked up recently at Calvin's sale either.

Looks like I'm going battery shopping again. Does anyone have a suggestion for the shortest protected quality 16340 for these tiny lights?

I just measured a AW rcr123 protected cell at 34.32mm length.

Thanks freeme for pics and info.

thats good a have a couple of 16340s yey!

sorry for the question but whats the difference between CR123A/ *R*CR123A.
and will the lumens any different between 16340 and ®CR123A?

Disposable CR123A is 3V, where as RCR123A can be 3 or 3.7V. 16340 is 3.7V only.

I am going to find out the performance with different battery type in a couple of hours time.

Looking forward to a cell comparison , the high output level mentions 500-300 lumens?

Does this mean it steps down to 300 or does it mean it max,s out at 300 on a primary cr123a.

Step down to 300lm based on the manual.
