Well I wanted to put out a small introduction to a new venture a buddy and myself have been working on called Ronin Metalwerks.
This is a tritium lanyard bead we are calling the Hotaru, named after the Japanese Firefly. It houses six 1.5x6mm vials of tritium to help locate your gear in the dark.
So far we have been making them in Tellurium Copper and Zirconium but plan to run some in some more exotic materials like Timascus, Mokuti, Damascus and other in the future.
Here are a some pics of our work:
We would love to hear your opinions and thoughts on our design!
I like it! Just did a quick run thru your site, nice and pricey, that’s a TM16 or a SD75 vs 1 loaded bead? Ain’t happening  unless I hit the lottery?
Yeah we understand this bead is a bit on the pricey side, however there is a lot of work, and material/tooling cost that goes into creating these. We will be releasing a few new designs soon, some will be less expensive.
Again thanks for the welcome and compliments, we will be doing some in brass and bronze to try and keep costs low. And a tip to keep things cheap, instead of loading tritium(since its literally one of the most expensive substances on the planet) would be to load the slots up with epoxy mixed with glow powder.
