Did I get a fake Hugsby Xp-1 ?

I just received this flashlight from ebay, because I heard it is so great.
But what I received :
1/ does not exactly look like the lights I saw on the net before ordering. In particular, the clip is different
2/ not a proof that it is fake, but it does feel really cheap in my hands :confused: I donā€™t know what a real Hugsby feels like, but mine is veeery light andā€¦well does not seem sturdy at all. One million miles away from my Tank007 for example.

I made the same mistake and bought one of ebay and got the fake with the shiny button and straight clip. Buy the real one here.

Well, the seller has refunded me. He did not seem surprised when I told him he was selling fakes. He didnā€™t deny either.
So now, letā€™s buy the real one ! Thanks for the aliexpress link above, but thet donā€™t take Paypal :frowning: So if anyone has a trusted seller who sells the genuine one on ebay, Iā€™d love it please :slight_smile:

That was definitely a fake. its to shiny (looks more like paint than a smooth satin Anodizing) and it looks ā€œroughā€ compared to the real Hugsbyā€™s i have.

Tomtop on e-bay is where I ended up getting my real ones thanks to this site. The 2 fakes I received from a seller on Ali have terrible output compared to the real deal. One nice thing about the fakes is that the clip works perfect on the real ones for ball cap headlight duty!!! :slight_smile:

When I saw it a couple weeks ago Iā€™m sure it had the hugsby logo on it. Iā€™m guessing since the logo has been removed itā€™s likely a copy.
