Since the EC4S groupbuy did run smooth i would like to gauge the interest buying the new EA45S

Nice light! but a bit size-inefficient IMO, 4x parallel AA like the EA40 would have been better, and since it’s diecast they don’t need to make it round.

Is it EC45S or EA45S?
Because it is the latter that is listed on the manufacturer’s site.

Max $40. Die casting saves them a bunch of money in manufacturing, so less cost and higher profits, if they take it higher than $40. Hope they pass on the cost savings. Nitecore have always been high in price.

40 is probably my limit on one of these. It’s not a light I’d want for myself, but I could see this being a great gift for my nonflashlaholic friends.

Yep, I’m in. As far as price, if in line with savings on EC4S, I’m on board. I think I’ll like the 2x2 alignment of the AAs better than the 1x4 on my Sunwayman D40A.
