I have never owned a zoomie, it looks like the SK98 would be a good choice. I would like something that will run with a 14500 mainly. I am not opposed to building one that is lithium only. But, I want a good host or moddable pre-built that can rid itself of heat, has a decent pill and a standard 15mm or 17mm driver. There are so many out there that it would be foolish to just buy and hope for a good one. I may go the way of an 18650 zoomie if there are not good 14500 ones to be had.
I really want something that will fit in a pocket well and has a good clip as well.
So, if you have picked up a light that fits the bill and have done so very recently, please let me know where and what you think of the build quality. Getting rid of heat will be a big issue, I may go to a FET driver and strictly lithium batteries.
