It looks fine until you look at the Tube. That thing is just perfect for key chain carry and costs around a fifth of the price. Maybe I am biased because I own three tubes (bought on sale of course). They are tough and just work in the way that the average user wants them to.
Yep, the tube is awesome but this looks pretty ok. This light have more features and is brighter than the tube and looks much nicer than the Surefire “car key”
I actually really like the design of this one, though I would never buy one. I have a tube from the lightscastle game, but I gave it to my wife. It’s a nice physical design and great size, but just not bright enough for me.
I don’t need a light on my keyring anyways, I have my phone with me even more than I do my keys (if i’m not also carrying a normal flashlight)
Much nicer and cheaper than the SF. Not sure if it is fair to compare it with the Tube, too much of a difference in price and features. If I had some money laying around sure, at the moment not a chance.
That tube clone is 59mm long and 10mm thick, for that size you can carry a AAA twisty, most of them surpassing 160 lumens and being more pocket friendly.
That triple keychain light looks interesting, maybe too big for keychain but a good platform for a mini hotrod. Host only option please
The SGN3 looks really good. I’ve bought half a dozen Tube’s as presents, and just recently retired a blue one from my keyrings. A few things anoyed me about it. The tint from the mickey mouse led was horrible, so it is nice to see a “real” XP-G2 led in this light.
I was never a fan of the Tube’s UI, and kept getting it wrong (maybe because I didn’t use it enough), but the major flaw was that it came on accidentally in my pocket a few times.
The little 16340 MecArmy light looks great too - a triple in something that size is pretty amazing.
@Wrathbringer27 - perhaps you should rename this thread “New MecArmy Lights”, as we all seem to be drifting a little from the subject of your OP.
