my take on the little aaa thorfire pf03, I used this little beauty at work for a week, inspecting the underframe of the trains I work on (nightshift)
its a small package with a big heart,
beam on high compared to the sniper (260 lumen)
high and med ,not a lot of difference ,camera may be partly to blame
as you can see its a great little light for inspection work(I usually use a p60 with sst50 drop in)
After a week with this little fellow I have a new found respect for the aaa battery (I used eveready gold)
I have no doubt on the manufacturers claims of around a hour on high and three on low.
the only fault I think this light has is that it starts in low,but that is personal preference,
but if you after a small edc in the aaa format put this one at the top of your list

Thanks for the review. Can you take a picture of it in your hand to give us an idea on how small or large this light is? It appears that the light is missing some anodizing. Is that through knocking it around or is it like black ink that comes of in your hand?
I've just ordered a heap of AAA LSD batteries. Do you have a charger?
