Anyone seen this C8 variant before ? Same pill/reflector materials?

It appears to me that is has a shorter reflector. Or it's just a different design and actually the reflector is the same with other C8's?

Price is $21 in China.

They are powerful and provide very good flood angle for their size.

Ive used to use the Spiderfire P7 as my primary bike light until the XM-L came out.

It's not C2 my man.

It seems to have the best heatsinking of all C8 designs. Appears that no one has seen this variant before.

There's no shipping because it's only for China.

Thanks but I'll avoid that one. You might want to check out the KD C8 (or similar) for the best heat sinking in budget 1 x 18650 XML's. The LED transmits heat directly to a thick chunky aluminum head through a large screw-in aluminum (not bronze) pill. Bronze doesnt conduct heat nearly as efficiently as aluminum. The KD is also well established, readily available and well driven @3A.

That brass pill is heavier than my c8. Could be okay as long as it is xm-l

Is that a budget light? seems like a nice anodizing. Unique design as well.

Well it comes with a extender, for use with 2 x 19650. The head is 53mm but the reflector is standard probably @ 41mm .

Looks like total quality.

It's $46 in China. Don't ask me about shipping, because it's a chinese seller apparently not selling for the west.

Thank you sir!. I have a chinese friend. Let me run this past her and see if she can possibly help arrange shipping. I reallllllllly like the looks of that host and I can always mod it later if it doesnt perform as well as it looks.

Thanks. I never gave taobao much thought. My friend always brags about the super deals and cheap shipping she gets through taobao, mostly on great cloths & shoes (shes a model and probably needs a spare home just to stash all of her stuff). At least she doesnt give me any crap about all my flashlights, guns and knives. LOL! Im hopeful that she can also help me find a review on this light. The host is very much to my liking but I probably wont spend much more than advertised + shipping for an unknown performer. There is also always the possible angle for a review sample and subsequent flashpilot review followed by an inquiry for group buy. The only downside I see at first glance in the design is not utilizing the entire head area for a larger reflector. Also, multiple 4.2V celled lights notoriously under perform when running only one cell. 2 x 18350's have very short run time and not much to my liking. I'll let you know what we come up with... if anything at all.
