BLF A6 Non Anodized

Firstly, I am new here but not new to the flashlight hobby (addiction? lol). I have currently and have had custom lights, semi-custom lights and mass produced lights. I, just yesterday, received a new BLF A6 non anodized version — WOW!!! What a light! The fit and finish, the function, the firmware, the UI, the emitter (3D) is super! This light exceeded my expectations in every way. I really am thankful to those that have created it. I look forward to my time spent here at BLF. What a first experience. Thank you.

Welcome to BLF Nd sorry for your wallet
The short 18350 bare tube for bare BLF A6 is now available at BG should you want t convert your unit for shorter length

Welcome to BLF! :-)

The bare BLF-A6 is my current favourite! And indeed, it may be nice to get the short battery tube too, for use with a 18350 battery.

Mods sorry if this is in wrong forum. Please move if necessary. I didn’t know exactly where to put it. Thanks.

For the short tubes as the bare ones are available now…

On the edit tab in your original post, there should be a pull down menu for which forum you want to post in, you can move it wherever you want… The moderation here is not as heavy as other light forums… Welcome to BLF!

Thanks ReManG. I will be getting one of those. Moved it. I like BLF a lot already… !

I am new to this site, and will be quick to admit that you are talking way over my head. I am really impressed with your knowledge and the amount of time you folks have put into this project. You folks make this light sound like a mini-computer.

I currently use a Surefire 6P that was given to me by my brother for deer hunting. I was looking for something a little brighter for tracking a deer after dark (we all try for a quick kill, but even with a perfect shot placement, some have an unbelievable amount of adrenalin). I stumbled onto your site when looking for reviews.

I will probably get 1 for myself and 1 each for my 2 son-in-laws. Please provide tint recommendations for me for tracking an injured deer at night (blood trail) so it needs to be bright, h and general purpose for 2 SIL’s.

Is the tint selection the only option? From what I understand, all BLF lights can only be purchased from Banggood.

Thanks for all your hard work. Steve

Just received my non-anodized after ordering 1-31-16. I think the tubes threads were cut too deep resulting in a very sloppy fit on both ends, with the tail cap being the worst.

I am wondering if anyone else has one with a very wobbly tail cap right up until the last 1 1/4 turns to tighten it. I have 8 anodized BLF A6 lights with good thread contact, actually very nice threading which shows very good tooling quality. I love the lights.

Since these are for gifting I will make a claim for a replacement tubecap tube. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

Here’s mine after “adjusting” the too-tight 18350 tube:

LUV this light!

I was itching to pick up another BLF A6 in black hard anodized. Arrived yesterday. The anodizing is done very well. Very uniform. I am a Happy Camper!

one of my best lights! I run mine on the 18350 shorty tube.
