Time to say hello and thanks to all the members who contribute with personal experiences and superb reviews. I`m not sure if you make me save money, but you definitely helping to point out the good stuff and avoid the bad.
I have been collecting lights for a few years. After some cheap ones I came over the Romisen RC-G2, a nice little light. But as everything else, after some time you want it brighter and better. Contacted the Romisen Factory and met a helpfull person. They could upgrade the RC-G2 to a good price as I recall, but at a minimum of 100pcs (I think this is what Shining Beam does).
We are all looking for the perfect light in different ways. Personally I have several lights using AA, 10440, 14500 and 18650. It`s fun with monsterlights, but for normal use, I`m still looking for a one AA/14500 light that are reliable, two/three modes, constent output, throws and really performs on Alkalines.
BLF has many members - Good reviews of products and dealers sell. Maybe we could invite manufacturers to this forum and together create some "perfect" lights to a decent price. To help with the logistics, I think Manafont/ Dino Direct/ others could do the job. They earn some cents on us, can raise the price for not members and they get positive feedbacks. It`s a win win.
